They won't. * the grey vote with their pension fiasco plus the energy crisis.
Hope they all burn in * and ghat * johnson should be told to * off back to his homeland, the United States of Arseholes

As a 40 year old man, I can't remember my old man speaking so horrendously about anyone.

I literally had to leave home, family and friends to come to engerland to find work at 17 as thatcher and her vegetables cabinet punished Scotland for voting Labour, Frankie Boyle was spot on as usual when he said there was no need to waste all that money on a state funeral , instead if they'd given the people of Scotland spades picks we'd have dug the hole deep enough to deliver thatcher personally to the devil

I think a lot of what happened under Thatcher, good and bad, would have almost inevitably happened anyway. She accelerated the change in far too blunt a manner which punished too many people that deserved more help from the government. But she also helped a lot of people in the early years break through the old class system, and people forget just how broke Briarin was in 1979. By her later years she was a nut case though - lost all sense of perspective.

And if we still had mining today the left would be super glueing their faces to the coalface to try and get them closed. An environmentalist ahead of her time :50:

I can still remember when I was a very wee guy in the 80s and I'd be in ma da's work van. She used to come on the radio and he'd go ape-*, shouting and cursing her to high heaven

"They should put her doon a mine and close it on top of her....."

"They should have took her to the * Falklands and left her there....."

I remember it all. A lot of people hated her beyond belief. And for good reason

My good pal's family are from Fallin near Stirling. A right inbred hun hole but also a coal mining village that suffered greatly when she was at war with the miners.

His auld mother told me that after the IRA missed her by a baw hair at that hotel....it came on the news at the pub in Fallin and it went silent. Nobody knew what to do....they hated her and the IRA as much as each other. She says you could tell some folk we're raging that she'd survived but kept quiet cause they couldn't be seen to be supporting the Ra'. Confusing times it must have been

There was a good BBC Scotland documentary about the Polmaise strikers. They were famous as one of the first pits to go on strike in Scotland and the last ones back. All very 'staunch' as you say but they were decent guys.

Was on the iplayer a couple of months back but doesn't look like it's on anymore. Sure it will come back.

Remember it being in the week, and I never go to pub then because I’m up before 5 most mornings. Made an exception that day, landlord mentioned the fact I was out and couldn’t figure out why I declined my usual pint of export, for a ridiculously expensive bottle of house red wine. Pub was busy,so sat out the back room on the covered pool table on a bit of space that was available. Do remember him coming up to me after twenty minutes and calling me a *, jokingly, after the penny dropped with him lol.
