Kyogo was on the decline and was clear to see.

With regards Idah he's not the answer for us. If we could get 5mil back from some team downsouth I would take it.

Scuffed the * and literally has no finesse in his passing otherwise he slips Forrest through as well..

    Complete and utter drivel.

Idah’s end product was frustrating today but how anyone could have watched that game today and compare him to Simon Murray and Nisbet off the back of it is beyond me.

Inexcusable to miss that pass, he just wants rid of it instead of carrying it a couple yards forward. Really poor quality, if that’s the other way round Forrest slips him in with 0 hassle.

I can’t argue with his return as a back up but I am not having him.

hes a good finisher but the fact he hasnt grasped his chance to be the main striker since kyogo went has left a big question mark over him . id imagine we will bring a striker in now if thats gonna put a rocket up his * to improve or make him throw the head up and look for a move elsewhere is anyones guess . may not be an issue right now but when maeda is a better option its only a matter of time until he looks for the exit

I think he has/is repaid/repaying his transfer fee... It's just that people are looking at him to go from the about £7M striker that he is (we slightly overpaid because it's the EPL) to our usual £15-20M player, after we develop them, and he's not doing that... Yet!

I'd be unhappy if we sold him for a cut price... But we do need to be honest and get in a 1st choice striker (or accept it's Maeda and replace him instead!) or accept it's a long journey of attempting to develop him in-house

Are you saying that he couldn't have scored that chance?

He’s solid but not spectacular. Not someone I want starting big games and not someone I’d of paid 9m for. I’d give him next season but if he has a similar type season I’d be looking to sell and cut our losses

He's a hun skelper, good enough for me...:67:

No he's not a gifted footballer as such but he does score and has scored some very important goals for us.. last season league, cup final, young boys(little help) and he has scored some belters..

Quite happy to have him in our squad.. couldn't give a * how much he cost.. people need to get over the price tag, * boring now and he's already paid it back

When he failed to play Forrest in I thought Forrest made it a harder pass by coming in too narrow so he had to play it nearer the rangers player. The miss was what sometimes happens, he gets a shot away under pressure and the keeper comes out quickly and blocks it. It wasn't an easy chance - more a 50:50 that went against him. He did great at his goal - running away from the goal when he got the ball then great first touch an finish.
Overall he had a decent game and has had a decent season. He's a good goal scorer when given the chances. If he isn't given the chances he won't do much else like most good goal scorers.

    Bizarre player.

I think he has the attributes but I'm not convinced he will ever stamp himself as no1 here.

1st half he was infuriating at times. He's quite lazy at points.

Glad he got the equaliser yesterday, but you want your striker to be doing better with the other chances he had, in a game like that. He * me off yesterday, which is probably exacerbated by our other recent results against them. I hope we see an improvement in him next season.

I think you are right. It was a 50-50 situation, and I think Idah was conscious he could have collided with the goalkeeper too, maybe injuring both of them. And I agree, Forrest could have made himself more available for the pass.

That was his third goal against Rangers, and his minutes to goal ratio is very, very good.
One thing is for sure, the Hun's CB's don't like playing against him, they know he has got their measure.
