  2. I want to win every game against them, but hypothetically if it were a choice of winning one and losing 2 and drawing 1 every season, winning the league and a possible treble, I'll take the latter any day. Our first game against them set the precedent for our season and generally we were ruthless, which led to the 17 * point gap there is. As always we can improve and strengthen, and I'm sure we will. Am away to continue getting mwi with the tunes on.

Against ex Rangers maybe. Against maybe Advocaats Rangers, I say aye.

Against that mob of * plumbers and fools? With a rookie, ned manager? And a punditry coaching staff?

    Nope.

Its not a good look. And needs to he addressed sharpish.

  3. Aye totally agree. All very similar there. But going wi 3 in there just doesn't work. He should.have had McCowan or Bernie in there. Had us solid. Stop the huns playing through us and countering. We just look weak in there. Raskin looks very comfortable amd that's on our set up.

  4. Whole vibe today had the feeling of an irrelevant draw. It was a fair result, it probably suits both bosses, and everyone moves on.

Given the nature of the game I don't think we can read too much into it, though the starting 11 clearly shows how thin our squad is. If we were going in to a must win game with that 11 and bench it would be utterly unacceptable. But it is what it is and hopefully it encourages some spending in the summer.

  7. 7-1

    7-1

Come on lads enough of the negativity we missed 2 one on ones and if Idah buried his they wouldn’t have scored it would have finished 3-0 if chances were taken. Mon the hoops

  8. Poor game in terms of qaulity from both teams.

  9. This. Our board are happy to dosh out soundbites lording ot over them being skint etc but when it comes to the deep rooted social bile they don't stand up enough

  10. Nobody was ever really going to go full tilt though.

Their players know their summer starts in 2 weeks, for us we have the Cup final in 3 weeks they'll all want to play in.

You'd never put in the extra effort when you can only really ruin your end of season/summer by ending up with an injury.

  11. Quite enjoyed it. Thought the Huns again looked better against us than I expected but we should be adapting to that better. Having said that both teams will likely be significantly different next time they meet.

  12. Meaningless game in the grand scheme of the season, at the end of a long season we could and should walk away with 3 trophies. They’ll walk away clutching at straws

  13. Good luck wi that in here mate. :56:

    I agree wholeheartedly though

  14. I thought we played better than people are giving us credit for.

Missing 3 key players to how we play. Came back from a goal down and should’ve really won it.

    It’s a decent result.

  15. We should've won, however, stopping them * winning against us today was crucial.

Considering we had various key players out, thought we did OK...

Ralston & Taylor gave me the boak.. Those 2 playing today should show any young upcoming player that all you need to do is work hard and never give up on your dream, it can happen.

Scales was a shambles again.. If he stands up, jockeys dessers then he doesn't have that free shot. Dives in misses which opens the shot up for him. Apart from that missed tackle, he spend the rest of the match on his *.

Bernardo looked good and composed when he came on.

Bigger fish to fry for us, hopefully a couple coming back from injury just in time for another tre9ble!!!

  16. Scales was poor and Idah was slack at times, that pass into Forrest and a better touch for the chance he missed would have been two big chances he made a * of although his goal was class and probably had no right to score with it, great touch with the wee heel flick of the ball inside and leathered it well.

Midfield played pretty well and were composed and cut through the huns a lot more easier than we have in a while.

But the game did have a flatness to it that it never really mattered and nobody really seemed that interested or up for it from either team. The past couple of dead rubbers near the end the huns seemed to put much more effort into, the stuffing looks knocked out them.

Thought we were calm and comfortable, and they were comfortable that we weren't really going too hard and happy to sit off and counter. The ones last season and the season before they more went into them like they were trying to win and like it was a Cup final to them, probably as the managers were still trying to win against us and keep their jobs where as this one nobody looked bothered.

  17. It's important for their kid to be born in Japan and not Scotland... nationality etc.
