Fingers crossed they do similar next year. I'd have loved it as well.

Was hoping for a yellow 80s vibe with the green pinstripes.

Good to be on the elite list. More worldwide sales and more bespoke kits.
Shows the importance of qualifying for the champions league too

Footy Headlines can exclusively leak that Adidas and Celtic have already signed a contract extension. We expect an official announcement soon

Like Leeds United, Adidas and Celtic's current kit deal was due to expire in the summer of 2025.

Adidas and Celtic extended their current kit deal thanks to their sales and brand recognition success. We have no information yet on how many seasons the deal was extended for, but we expect a duration of around five years.

The previous kit deal between Adidas and Celtic FC started in the 20-21 season and runs until the end of the 24-25 season

Celtic hailed their bumper five-year agreement with adidas as "the biggest kit sponsorship ever to be announced across Scottish sport".

The partnership between Adidas and Celtic has been a huge success. In 2023, Celtic broke into the top 20 best-selling clubs' kits of the year, generating a staggering £29 million ~ €34 million in sales.

Particularly that we have got elevated to elite status which should only see us do even better in terms of worldwide brand recognition. I would imagine given the success of the first deal probably this deal is worth more also.

Notably absent is any mention of the terms of this 'landmark extension' in that statement. :97:

    10 years apparently.

My favourite brand. Haven't been hugely impressed by the kits but the training, golf and other type of gear is top.

Daily record daying 10 year £30m deal which makes it ,£3m per season. Less than castore/umbro give huns.

Previous deal was £9m per season for 5 years and this deal will exceed that especially with elite status apparently negotiated.

It will be a 5 year deal 100%

That makes more sense, 10 years is a long time, for both Adidas and us.

From memory didn’t Man United do a 10 year deal with adidas recently?

I don’t think what we’ve received from kit manufacturers has changed massively over the last few deals. I could see us locking in 10 years if the money is appropriate and there’s other incentives (usually like contributing to a new store opening, for example).

CELTIC are in the money this morning after announcing details of a bumper new and improved kit deal with Adidas.

The Hoops initially signed up with the famous German sporting fashion brand at the start of the 2020-21 season.

That bumper five-year sponsorship was trumpeted as the "biggest kit sponsorship ever to be announced in Scottish sport" but it had been set to expire at the end of this campaign.

We told you back in October, though, how both parties were thrilled with the success of their kit sales and brand recognition and were keen to extend the arrangement.

And this morning confirmation has come of a fresh arrangement which SunSport understands will comfortably outstrip the previous numbers - and will last LONGER than the next five years.

The Hoops said in a statement: "Celtic Football Club is delighted to announce a landmark extension of our partnership with adidas, continuing our journey together as the club’s official kit supplier

This new long-term agreement will see adidas continuing to deliver world-class designs for our first team and training wear across both the men’s and women’s squads.

Adidas replaced New Balance as Celtic's kit partners back in 2020 - who themselves had penned a £25m-plus deal when they replaced Nike in 2015.

In 2023, the German kit suppliers helped the Hoops break into the 20 biggest-selling kits of the year, generating a whopping £29m in sales.

Man Utd ten year deal at 75 million a season that’s the reason they signed a ten year deal

Not sure they'd get such a good deal now, I suppose it depends on how much merchandise they are selling in Asia and America but as an advertisement of Adidas it isn't in the Champions League every season like it used to be.

Football kits and fashionwear are selling in huge amounts, Champions League three years running, I can imagine we are getting a lot more than New Balance paid.

From what I’ve heard that’s not the case. We had a really good deal with NB. The deal with adidas is roughly the same.

It will be more because of inflation etc., and bonuses will be better as time goes on, but those things are predictable at our level and would be baked into longer term deals.

To put it another way, if we signed a 10 year with NB I think the value of the deal would be roughly the same as 5 NB and 5 Adidas. There aren’t notable jumps in these deals for us from my understanding.

A 10 year deal with Adidas would make a lot of sense.

Edit: I should point out, I’m not saying the deal is 10 years, I just mean it wouldn’t be bad business or unusual for us or adidas.
