There is definitely ability there so he is someone I would not write off as being able to make his mark at Celtic yet.

On paper he'd have been ideal to rotate with Engles this season, just a shame he never showed the quality

Maybe the loan was the boot up the * he needed. But sadly don't see him here next season. We need a few midfielders to come in and I don't see him has being one of them

He’s barely played in a pretty poor LAFC team.

Just don’t think there’s any chance he makes it here. McCowan showed far more this season than Holm did in 2 years.

Maybe, but only maybe, that could have to do with him getting an injury right at the start of his loan and just recently came back? :giggle1:

Not the 1st time a young lad out on loan has said he's had zero contact from the club. Jonny Jenny said likewise.

I have asked it before, but will ask again.... What the * is Darren Odea getting paid for?

This lad came with high expectations and has not delivered, it does concern me what goes on with some of the young lads, is our scouting or coaching so bad? We have to learn from events like this and stop squandering money.

It is a well known fact that Darren O'Dea smashed a hun. He even had a song saying so.

He has now earned a lifetime wage from the club based on this fact.

I doubt they are part of his remit. 21 and 22, with the club trying to find someone to ship them out to rather than find a pathway to the team.

Tbf, I like that attitude. Would be easy for him to * us off. But he has to back it up.

He was injured before he went on loan

He also turned a couple of loan offers from clubs in Scotland

Mccowan is 27. Arguably in his prime, remember and not a 'kid' even though he looks it.

Not that Holm is a teen anymore but he's got a lot more development in him than the former.

He definitely does, still don't think he makes it here. Him not playing in the last 3 MLS games makes me think he's going to get * all game time. No matches no development. He'd be better off with Dundee or the like tbh.

I think this too. He clearly has footballing ability, could do with bulking up a bit but there seems to be something holding him back from achieving his potential.

I'm not sure he makes it here either but don't think he can be compared with someone like McCowan. Who's the same age as Hatate.
