    While I love Jurassic Park, I think that is the one scene I didn't care for. It worked in Jaws but in JP it just feels like very lazy rounding. The scene where Hammond introduces the others to Muldoon practically signposts it. Lo and behold, we end up with the four main characters (and two kids) on the helicopter at the close of play.

    Interesting perspective...

    Supposedly in the script he wasn't meant to die like in the novel but Bob Peck got cancer so they flipped Muldoon's outcome. I personally thought it added additional threat to the raptors and was a pretty intense scene even if the outcome was predictable.

    Aye, there were a few changes from the novel concerning who survived, it's just a personal bugbear of mine when you can tell who is going to die before it plays out on screen.

    That said, one of my favourite films is The Wild Geese, and you can pretty much guess the killing order before they set off.
