He got an assist and helped Wilson out a lot, Wilson would've been ripped apart if Brown didn't go back and cover for him, thought today showed he's better used wide right than in the middle.

:56:I actually said I'd rather have Hinkel, he doesn't attack as much but I think he's more solid, though Wilson had a mare today

All about opinions but Brown just isnt doing enough for me.

He is so arrogant and arrogance is OK if you're delivering, which I dont think he is.

Wilson must have had a mare IYO today if your calling for Hinkel.:icon_mrgreen:

P.S Rossenspeil I agree with you that Brown is not doing enough, although today I thought he did well.

Hinkel doesn't do much going forward anymore like in his early games, but I think he's positionally a more sound Rb. Wilson gets dragged left, right and centre.

He's not started the season well but I think since he's been here we've only conceded once down his side and that was against D.Utd. Wilson on the other hand has been involved in too many for my liking. Anyway all about opinions, wanted to see Caddis get another run out today in place of Wilson.

To me, Wilson still looks unfit.

Neither him or Hinkel have covered themselves in glory. Fullback area continues to be a problem as does the defence in general tbh.

Brown did his job very well today, give the guy some credit.
Wilson plays like an absolute fud, yet folk want to moan about Brown.

Yip Brown's form has been really good this season for Celtic and Scotland. He can fit in anywhere in the midfield.

Wilson just isn't good enough for Celtic. He hasn't progressed any since he took the step up from Dundee Utd maybe because of injuries. Caddis and Hinkel should be fighting for the RB position.

It was good to see Celtic play today without having to give the ball to McGeady. We played like a team.:50:

Why, Brown did well, Wilson was his usual crap, Mick and Gary were poor in second half, Skippy done nothing apart from score 1, so why focus on Brown m8.

Caddis deserves a shot I agree. I just don´t see a player in Hinkel at all. He is positionaly aware but he seems unable to stop players getting in behind him. Weather that´s lack of pace, strength or quickness of mind I am not too sure, to be honest it really dosent matter for me he´s been a major let down. Wilson IMO is a better option although your right he has been poor this season, including today. He is not fully fit so perhaps a bit unfair to judge him fully.

As you say though it´s all about opinions mate.

I would like to see Mcgeady on the right and then put robson in the middle with brown, and maloney on the left.

Can't believe this Ellboy, Hinkle is a German internationalist, Wilson is at best about fourth choice for Scotland behind Broadfoot who is a CH.
He should be sold, or given away, never Celtic quality.

Because I believe Skippy, Mick and Caldwell have done enough in the past to justify their place in the team despite unimpressive performances today.

I think Brown has consistently played either average or poor and doesn't deserve a jersey.

Id prefer to see Robson / Crosas in the middle with 2 from McGeady/Naka/Maloney in the wide areas.

So it was Crosas fault that a bog standard, bread and butter, harmless high ball gets lobbed into the box, knocked down and smashed in?

And it was Crosas fault that Caldwell came charging out like a * idiot for the second?

Lubo mate if truth be told I don’t rate either of them, if I am being brutally honest I don’t rate any of our back 4.

Hinkel may well be a German international but I just don’t see a defender in him at all. Wilson is a better option IMO, however that does not mean I am happy with that choice either. Wilson wins over Hinkel for me just on commitment alone, not for being a quality full back. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
