I was just reading facts about Ronaldo and i am amazed at how many individual honours he has at such a young age. Most players have never achieved what he has in their whole career. He is truely a great player. In my opinion the best player of his generation.

Medals mean * all when it comes down to who is a better player, look at pele Ronaldo will probably have more honours than him but does it make him better, like * it does.

 

Still pretty impressive.

 

Garrincha has barely any medals and i rate him the greatest ever.

the games moved on light years from when pele was playing - you just cant compare the two - this lads awsome and only - * dont no how old he is ? early 20s - and dont forget pele was in a brazilan team that just crushed every one - not like portugal

No. Playing football is more than being the fastest, having the best ball control and being able to win some matches by yourself. Messi is * class but he does * in many games and still too individualistic. He gets injured frequently also. At his best, no one can compare, but he's quite irregular.

Don't know who's "the best" player right now. Maybe Ronaldo, maybe Kaka... i think Agüero will be in a few years (what a striker ffs, you'll see him this year in CL )
