He's just really poor with his back to goal. Mostly because his first touch always runs away from him, meaning the move has either stalled, or he's been robbed of the ball..

If we could get a decent amount back, I'd look to cash in on him and bring someone else more suited to the role..

He has qualities, but isn't physical enough for his stature. Doesn't have good enough hold up or link up play. Isn't much of a pressing striker which Rodgers likes. Scores goals but feel like we could get a more rounded and clinical striker moving forward..

He's a poacher, nothing more and nothing less, we don't play to that strength therfore we wasted 9 million.

He's big and strong sure but his ball control is * and it just pinballs of him to the opposition anyway so hitting it up to him is pointless.

Doesn't score any headers either at corners or free kicks, might make a goid center half cause he can defend them I suppose.

Starting to look like we got fleeced buying him, hopefully we move him on during the summer and get a proper 9 million striker, still believe the guy has talent but seems to have a motivation issue as he generally looks totally disinterested.

Starting? It was obvious the day he permanently signed.

There’s absolutely no chance we move Idah on, no team will be as daft as us to pay over 9 mil and our board wont be taking a hit on a player of that amount after 1 season.

We definitely overspent. He's a decent striker though and does score important goals so think it will work out.

He's probably a bit put out by being out No1 striker for a whole week and then back to No2. Must be a wee bit *.

Imo we vastly over spent. He'll not make it here.

We need better and it's been evident from day one with him. He's a no bad option but 9 million was absolutely mental.

Idah does some great stuff in the box, and frequently gets attempts on target

Build up play is honking sometimes, so let’s play to his strengths, like last season at Killie away - where he destroyed them

There is no doubting that we had our pants pulled down with him, our own fault for letting it drag out and not having an alternative option.
It is what is. For now, he does well mostly from the bench, maybe because game getting stretched/opponents tiering.
Worth noting, that we did score twice when he was introduced yesterday.
Really difficult to predict how the future is going to pan out for him.
Cant see us being able to offload him for a half decent fee, unless he has a run of form till end of season.

Hasn't shown anywhere near the ability to command a shirt. For a big man he can't hold the ball up. Unable to link play up and is an easy touch for centrebacks to defend.

    Simply not good enough.

I think we all know what Idah is and what he will be. A decent squad option, will go through patches of good and bad form.

Not a disaster of a signing, but we did overpay. If we get a decent offer in the Summer, we should consider it.

When he's good he's ok, jury still deliberating. Has scored some cracking goals lets face it but equally has been barren more often than not. He does need supply though. He's big enough and strong enough in contact but it takes so long for the signals from his brain to reach his feet it's like by the time they've gotten there the balls gone, another opportunity missed. Is it a confidence thing or a competence thing. He'll no doubt go o a run at sometime just hope it's sooner rather than later for him.

Maeda hasn’t suffered whilst playing through the middle. Do you think we play totally different when he is the striker compared to when it was Kyogo or now Idah?

When he came on you're expecting him to be pressing like * and bullying defenders but he genuinely done * all.

There was the one jota went down and he stopped and looked for the foul on Jota instead of chasing the ball. It's frustrating because he can have an impact like young boys or the cup final but it's happening sparingly and for 9 million its the least we should expect.
