Celtic consider move for BK Hacken star Zeidane Inoussa as hunt for game-changing winger escalates
The Hoops and the French outfit St Etienne have both scouted the Swedish under-21 star regularly in recent weeks

Celtic are considering a move for BK Hacken star Zeidane Inoussa.

The Hoops and the French outfit St Etienne have both scouted the Swedish under-21 star regularly in recent weeks. The left winger has impressed since he moved to Hacken last year. Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has made a left-sided attacker a priority and Inoussa is one of the names being considered. He wants another option behind Daizen Maeda with uncertainty over Luis Palma's long-term future

The Premiership champions have also held talks over a move for Norwegian under-21 star Sondre Orjasaeter and been linked to Royal Antwerp’s Michel-Ange Balikwisha , Hammarby’s Bazoumana Toure and Raul Moro of Real Valladolid.

Done a little google search on him and an interesting article from the guys at Scouted Notebook came up about the Scandinavian leagues but features both Touré and Inoussa.

They say on Inoussa at the end of their Toure analysis.

    Source - https://www.scoutednotebook.com/p/the-secrets-of-scandinavia

“A player that seems more suitable for an immediate step up is Zeidane Inoussa. The eagle-eyed among you will have spotted his name pop up in the plots above.

Inoussa is interesting because he has a bit of a history at the higher levels. He was signed by French club SM Caen as a 17-year-old from the IF Brommapojkarna academy in 2019. He spent four years on the books there, making a grand total of eight first-team appearances, but two of them were on loan at Real Murcia and Valencia’s B team in Spain’s lower leagues.

Last year saw him return to his boyhood club Brommapojkarna, who themselves had just returned to Sweden’s top flight, and he hit the ground running, ending the 2023 season with six goals in 13 games. That form preceded an off-season move to BK Häcken, a club in the best period of their history, for whom Inoussa has been a regular this year.”

Elsewhere in the article it also shows that Toure is literally one of the fastest forwards in top 5 European football plus the Swedish League but Inoussa is still fast as he makes the top table list just a little further down but has similar pace to an Anthony Gordon, Nico Williams and Karou Mitoma.

Interestingly Moro also features high up on that list. So it is clear we are looking at that profile of high pace, tricky left winger that likes to come in on their right foot.

Is he not out for a few months injured?

Don't think he has played for months so how can we have recently watched him?

    He hasn't played since October!!!!
