Federer was awesome, much like Nadal was at Wimbledon when he beat Murray.

Murray learned from that and came back and exacted revenge, i have no doubt he'll do the same again. Need to remember he's at 2 games a piece with the greatest player of all time in head-to-head's!

Also anyone slating Murray needs to take a look at themselves, if you don't think he was gracious in defeat last night then * knows what is.

theres a huge difference from being arrogant and being a gentleman.

just because federer acts like a gentleman doesn't mean he thinks he's better than anyone else ffs, get a grip.

Federer is one of the classiest and nicest guys in sports, your clearly bitter however, so i'll leave you alone for now.

I love watching Federer and think he is a class act, all i am saying is Murray is not that bad a guy either and he gets criticised for being honest instead of false.

There was a brilliant article in the times yesterday that summed Murray up perfectly.

Most British people would be happy for him to be a chirpy loser, does well but ultimately fails then cracks a few jokes in the press conference, absolutely love the glorious failure pish we get served up regularly.

Other people want him to be the plucky Scot that stands up and is counted amongst the world elite. Depends on your mindset i suppose but it won't stop him eventually going and winning multiple grand slams imo, he is further in his progression than Federer was at 21.

I think Federer, Djokovic, Nadal, and Murray will all win slams in the future. I do see Nadal being the next dominant force when Federer starts winding down, with Murray being a thorn in his side.

Anyone see the post match press conferance with Murray?

Press: It must be nice to win 1.5million Dollars.
Murray: I dont know, it only worth about 10 pound these days.

that's all well and good, but in 6 years time when AM is 27, do you honestly think he will have won 13 grand slams ? and lost in about 5 finals as well ?

he may be further in his progression when federer was at 21, but thats only because you live in the UK, all we hear about in terms of tennis is Murray.

im sure 6 years ago Federer was huge in Switzerland too, its unfair to say he's progressed further, we never heard about RF 6 Years ago, but i guarantee the Tennis World had, and i also guarantee RF was better at 21 than AM is.
