    His attitude is entirely misconstrued.

He did interviews at Wimbledon and he came across as a thoroughly decent guy thats up for a laugh! And that's saying something seeing as it was with that * Tim Henman.

I was talking about this with my mate the other day, name me 1 tennis player that appears happy and smiley on court? It's not in their make up to be jovial, they're there to win a tennis match not please people by coming across as a happy go lucky guy.

    Andy Roddick usually.

roger federer always plays with a smile on his face, Novak Djokovic is usually up for a laugh, hence some of the nick names he has.

murray is just a dour faced *, nothing to do with tennis players, he's really arrogant, and seems like a good laugh

What a load of nonsense :56:

Any pictorial evidence of these guys smiling out on court or have i been watching tennis all these years with my eyes shut?

Arrogant how? Name 1 thing he's said or done that can be construed as 'arrogance' other than this 'miserable' tag he appears to have picked up.

    how is it nonsense ?

why are these guys known for their sense of humour, maybe not federer, but he certainly plays with a smile, and doesn't play with his face tripping him, maybe because he is the GOAT.

but Djokovic and Roddick have reputations as jokers, does murray ?

and murray is arrogant because when his opponent makes an unforced error, at 15-15, he acts like he's just surpassed Pete Sampras grand slam record.

the guys attitude just stinks, he has no class whatsoever.

that would be a game winning goal, against my biggest rivals.

winning a point at 15 all, doesn't quite compare.

Points win tennis matches, just like goals win football matches.

Nicknames like Jokerbitch, Djokodick, Jokerdick etc etc. Djokovic is a total fandan.

Muzza's the man! And so is Fed...

I don't agree at all but it's clear you don't like him personally so thats the end of that really.

I hope he pumps yer pal Fed in the final and i'm a fan of Feds as well, best player to pick up a racket!

    calm down bud.

i did like him when he first came on the scene, he was the player i supported to win the majors after Federer, but his attitude just stinks and it really bugs me.

and i hope " my pal " federer wins :50:

Give Murray a break. He's just reached his first Slam final after years of extremely hard work and is in the elite. And he has the attitude of a winner. Have you never seen how Nadal fist-pumps when winning points? And Roger has scowled and shouted "come on" at various intervals recently. Take your tinted specs off. You don't know Murray personally do you? Therefore it can only be assumed you are talking pish!

    Anyway, vamos Andy and Rog!

I don't like Murray, but I actually hope he wins now after that performance against Nedal.

    Agreed, he is.

but who actually calls him those nicknames ? the fans ? because the media and players certainly don't.

he is known as the Djoker and the Jester by the media etc, because of his sense of humour, i don't really like him though, was just giving an example.

come on mate, do you know him personally either ?

And i think Nadal is an arrogant * too, i never said he wasn't.

and federer recently has said come on a lot recently, but no wonder the year he's had, and it isn't murrays come on that annoys me, its the way he pumps his chest and flashes his muscles when he wins.

lets be honest, how many tennis players have you ever seen kiss their muscles when they win a match ?

A lot of fans yeah. I can't go him at all, all his chest-beating, and his obnoxious loudmouth family. He also never did himself any favours by having a go at the NYC crowd after the Roddick match. He has the grace of a 3 legged elephant off the court, and on it!
