Would have preferred O'Shea. This guy gives me Nat Phillips vibes.

Sheffield United want him apparently. Close to signing him in January.

He has been out since March with a "health issue" don't see this one being a goer tbh that's some amount of football to miss

Good on the ball, but slow. Don't see that being a smart signing

I’ve never thought he was slow whenever I’ve watched him. See this a lot about CBs now: if not lightning like VVD, they’re labelled ‘slow’ by some. I actually think he has a decent, average amount of pace - enough to play our system without being caught out.

I don't even think we're interested. Can't see us entering any sort of bidding war with any of these clubs in richer leagues. Don't see any point wasting time on this one. Def need a CB though.

    Slower than CCV.

Ccv is no slouch but he definitely benefitted by having a quicker player like Starfelt next to him.

Celtic have not made any loan approach for Bournemouth's Chris Mepham.

The Hoops have been linked with a potential summer move for the centre-half, 26, who has told the Cherries he'd like to take on a fresh challenge this coming season. The defender has been followed by a number of clubs including Premier League sides down south but a few months back it was claimed Celts were interested in the £8million rated Welshman.

Football Scotland can confirm, however, that the Glasgow giants have not yet approached Bournemouth about Mepham and would indeed now find themselves competing with other clubs looking to bring the player in

We've been very good at keeping most of our business quiet for a few years now, the rags really don't have a * clue but they still have to print something.

We are a tinpot total shambles of a club .Anybody who can't see that the board just want to keep us just in front of the huns and no more .We will get absolutely horsed in europe again oreilly will leave and we will spend no more than half his fee on the squad .Time to admit it lawell is a * parasite who should have been shown the door permanently long ago. Only a matted of time before Brendan walks and I for one would not blame him one little bit .SCUNNERED
