However, I still believe we can get results against the Huns and the potential of them dropping more points from playing in Europe, they’re dealing with a lot of injuries and Motherwell should have taken 3 or 4 off them at home yesterday.

The Hearts penalty should never have been given, Hearts players ,manager and even Boyd agreeing, so what is is, poor refereeing and officiating in the VAR room or something else?
If it's poor officiating then surely the officials should be downgraded as they are not up to the level required

I'm not sure why Boyd is defending Beaton saying it wasn't him that made the decisions.

The VAR is only supposed to highlight clear and obvious errors. The VAR does influence the decisions and it's extremely rare a ref goes against the VAR.

Beaton has broken the purpose of VAR by highlighting things that shouldn't have been highlighted as per the guidelines of VAR.

It's the laws and the guidance on the laws that need to change.
Natural position and making yourself bigger understanding is totally wrong.
As even Clement said, players are running round like penguins with hands at their sides.

Penalty rule has to change to be either deliberate or preventing a clear and obvious opportunity.

That's the one descision today that annoys me. Yangs' high boot could have been a red, could have been a yellow.

If the ref calls it red then it's harsh, but he shouldn't have had his boot so high.

Ref calls it as yellow, so that's that, except it wasn't.

It wasn't an obvious error, so no grounds for VAR to get involved, but Beaton did.

 

VAR should be for offsides, handballs, fouls missed in the build up. Even that’s a push, I’d almost rather it was only offsides.
