Hibs were awful against St Mirren yesterday. They didn't turn up.

They will be a different team on Wednesday.

I agree but an on form Maeda is dramatically better then Palma

Maeda and Kuhn on Wednesday would offer far far more

I would like to see us move to a 3-1-4-2.

    Hart

    Johnston/Welsh
    Nawrocki/Lagerbielke
    Scales

    Iwata/Holm

    McGregor
    O’Riley
    Kuhn
    Palma/Maeda

    Kyogo
    Idah/Maeda

Full backs are one of our main weaknesses the now leave an extra man back as we were far too open second half yesterday and couldn’t win the ball back. Having an Iwata if fit would help this too as well as having 3 at the back.

O’Riley and McGregor need to be more positive on the ball and whoever the wingers are need to get at their full backs and get better service into the box.

Idah, Kyogo, and one of McGregor or O’Riley need to be attacking the box when we have the ball wide as well as the opposite winger.

I've came to accept that even if we turn up, play well and get the win, it will not mean we've turned a corner. Thought we'd finally sorted out the issues with that good run up till the winter break, but it's gone again.

We're well short in terms of quality in depth but a manager like Rodgers should still at least be able to get us winning games even if we need to grind it out regularly, but I've given up on any hope of finding consistency.

So, hopefully we can go up a gear and get the win, but a long way to go to see if we can make it count. No predictions from me, see what happens.

They're so * * but sadly so are we so will no doubt be a tough game.

    Even though it shouldn't be.

Simply have to be more clinical.

We need to get behind the team on Weds night. This inhouse squabble between us the supporters and the board is not doing the team on the park any favours. We will have our day regarding the board but we need to keep the negativity away from the team.

I keep trying to convince myself that the next game will suddenly see us playing faster and more aggressively, quicker and more accurate passing, more direct and creating more clear-cut chances that will inevitably lead to goals....... But it just isn't happening, I actually thought we had a better first half on Saturday than (match thread on here) people were giving us credit for, but even then it was all just waaaaaay tooooooo slowwwww and predictable, far too easy to defend against. And we lost our shape and discipline too easily in the second half when Aberdeen excerpted a bit of pressure, middle to back we were all over the place trying to defend, it was way too easy for them to threaten our goal. Meanwhile up the other end of the pitch, it was taking us an eternity to eventually play it into their box, by which time they had invariably got everyone back and in position to defend our poor crosses and badly hit final balls. The amount of times Hart gathered in the ball and released it instantly to one of our guys in a position to counter, only for them to take three or four touches before passing it backwards through the line of Aberdeen midfield/forwards who were frantically running back from our box to get back into position. The quick throw from Hart was bypassing them and setting up a possible counter, but our instinct now is to play it back to our centre backs, go side to side a few times until the opposition are all back and set in position, then start our routine of 30 nothing passes before going wide and putting a * cross in to nobody.......... It's garbage to watch, and it's proving less and less effective as the season goes on. I just hope to * that the new guys are going to miraculously turn out really good and bring that something we lack, because as it stands..... Our wide men aren't producing, Kyogo is off the boil, our midfield is too often posted missing, and we are a shambles at the back. Less said about the keeper the better, he pulled off some decent saves on Saturday to be fair, but overall I still thought he was unconvincing and failed to deal with a couple of balls that should have been his.

    * grim man, no real thought went into this post and I'm just shooting from the hip, but I'm not usually one for panicking or being overly critical, but it's worrying just how this team has got me feeling right now, I've got a gut feeling about how this season is going which I'm trying to suppress, but I just can't convince myself that the writing isn't already on the wall. Peter Lawwell and his band of * have thrown their spanner in our works again, the manager has been unnecessarily handicapped, and a combination of injuries as well as key players going off the boil has seen us turn in some of the worst performances seen in years.

Said it before Aberdeen and have nothing left but to say it again....... We MUST get our act together pronto, and that means beating Hibs and taking 3 points, ideally with a performance that lifts everyone from players to supporters.

    C'mon tay * Celic' 0-3 to us :celt_2:

Rodgers has never won at Easter Road with better teams/players. Fully expecting us to drop more points.

He needs to earn his wage and motivate our team.

    St Mirren set the bar.
Anything below that standard will be seen as a strong and worrying message.

Idah and Kyogo in the starting lineup. Even if it means Kyogo off the left playing more inverted. Get Palma dropped. I’d start Kuhn over Abada on the other side as well.

Their style of play will suit us, they will try and play football and we should beat them as a result convincingly.
