    It's an eye-opener alright. I used to run a couple of pubs down south and one in particular just outside Stoke, which was frequented by the 'Under 5's' (boys 18-21), the pub across the way was for the 'Naughty 40's, the veteran Stoke casuals. I never got involved in the politics of it, they gave me a yard of respect and I them, they were my boys. Never caused any trouble on their own doorstep, if it came looking then it was taken outside and dealt with.

    only once did I have a drunken complaint about my Celtic scarf hanging over the bar and that was from an igronant * from out of town.

    It was an interesting experience to say the least, the bigger picture is fascinating. Same as in life I suppose.
