Me too mate. Absolute rollercoaster of a game.

As deadly going forward as we were horrendous in defence.

My favourite ever Celtic game that, even though I wasn't there.

I did that for the Nakamura Man Utd game. I had to go outside to get reception on MW (I had been in England for 6 years at this point) and, bizarrely, the point with good reception was not static so I had to move slowly around the park. I still remember dancing about the park like a crazy person when he scored that free kick and when Boruc saved the penalty! I was crazy about football in those days. :56:

I was there. I mind Del Pierro curling in a free kick to put them 0-1 up and I was thinking "here we go...we're gonnae get pumped".

Then we actually outplayed them the rest of the game. Moravcik was on another level that night. It was like he was showing the world that was the level he was supposed to play at his whole career. Ripped the Juve defence to shreds that night so he did . I remember Zidane during his time with Real Madrid saying that he grew up watching Moravcik playing in the French league and copying his play. You can see it when you watch clips of Zidane. Very similair style to Lubo. Well Moravcik was off the scale that night. Henrik and Chris Sutton not far behind him either. We'll never get those days back in the Champions League

I'll always think of that as Lubo's best game.

End to end stuff….Jacki was great to watch,a typical Celtic CF…..skilful,quick and great finisher.
We wouldn’t have went far in the tournament, although we had good individual players in defence,we shipped a lot of goals.
Always exciting to watch our midfield and forwards.

He nutmegged Nedved if I remember right. We've always had a physical aspect when we've gave the big teams problems. Sutton and Joos vs Juve, Hartson vs Liverpool, JVOH against Man Utd, Wanyama vs Barca and Dembele vs Man City. Scored from a corner vs Milan too.

Sometimes you need that, if you can't outplay the opposition.

Good call with the Tirol game as well. Two utterly insane games.

That was an absolute barnburner. The quality of goals from both teams was top class too.

Thats exactly what it was. Utterly inept defensively but brilliant going forward. Still can't believe how we couldn't see out the game at 5-3. In todays game of course with no away goals the game would have gone to extra time and what the score would have been after another 30 minutes who knows.

The 4th goal from Chris Sutton was pick of the bunch like. He turned, hit it on the volley, top corner......what a goal

Found this quote from Cesar about the game, while looking for something.

'We climbed three mountains then proceeded to throw ourselves off.’
Billy McNeil on losing out on away goals, 6-6, to Partizan Belgrade.
