    Honestly, I’ve never seen a footballer like him which is mental. He is a unique talent, incomparable.

    His output is inconsistent, no one will deny that, but what he brings to a team collective means that you can put up with the missed 1 on 1 or shanked cross because he’s absolutely crucial.

  2. I actually think Rodgers is improving him. One point he got to the line and normally would cross it/sky it into space, yet he slowed down and looked for a pass. Yes the livi player then put it out but it was promising signs he's being developed. What a * finish aswel. Class.

    Must be terrifying to play against.

    Still only 25, could develop further.

  4. Was at the match today. Maeda was everywhere. Literally never stops. Makes so much happen even if he sometimes needs a better final pass.

    Really glad he got that goal at the end as he thoroughly deserved it on today's effort.

  9. His form has really took a mental incline since the game against them before the international break. That goal will hopefully give him some real confidence too.

Technically he can be erratic to put it mildly, but I can't believe there are guys in our support that still talk about him like he's a dud and can't see what he brings to the team, or understand why he's been getting called up to the national team before Kyogo when he is the better player, his defensive pressing from the front and all round workrate is ridiculous for a forward, he's an absolutely unique player.
