Was better than reo today and at ibrox he might miss a chance or his final ball might be a bit off but at least he's getting there to miss reo hasn't been at it since he came back at all bar the pass for kyogo at tynecastle

 

Mooy is rapid compared to him.
He's a classy player but I'd take a good fee and replace him with someone more dynamic for in there, basically what you're saying.

 

He's a hard one to work out for me.

I think he has excellent attributes, and a really good footballing brain, but he is striking me as a luxury player.

Something hasn't quite been right in our team for a while to be fair.

Maybe I'm a bit harsh to single O'Riley out but he annoyed me today.

 

I wouldn't call him a luxury player. He is always willing to track back and defend.

 

there is no way we should be considering selling oriley he is still sitting at the top of assist charts from what i can see ,he is a quality player .i really dont understand why so many are wanting to get rid as if its gonna be easy to get someone better .droping into the deeper role when mcgregor was out seemed to knock him off his stride a bit and maybe the gruelling season has taken its toll a bit, i have no doubt he will be back to his best next season

 

Looked at least a yard off the pace yesterday and wasn’t even close to his best defensive wise, usually he picks up a lot of 2nd balls but he just wasn’t at it.

 

Thought he was excellent today. Felt like he was enjoying it and playing with more freedom.

Wish he'd stop trying to pass 30 yarders into the net though

 

He was unlucky with that one to be fair. Was a great move and done the keeper..

You could see how much he fancied it today, second half he controlled a ball out the sky with a lovely caressed one touch pass. Was silky and effortless..

 

I think he works so hard honestly, probably one of our top pressing players even if he's slower he still pushes and pushes.

 

I wouldn't be against him staying as a squad player, still has something to offer, I'd move on Turnbull instead.

 

Good suggestion, IMO.

 

His interview makes it sound like he knows he's staying..

I know he wouldn't outright say he was away, especially before a cup final....but he doesn't give the impression that his manager is about to walk out the door next week or said anything to them..

 

If Ange was still at the club, I'd be fine with Matt moving on, fine player but looked a bit lethargic at times in midfield.

However, I'd like to see him under a new manager, there's a very talanted player in there. I think he'll leave this summer, but wouldn't be against keeping him and seeing how he gets on.

 

Decision time in the next days/weeks FFS man, why not add months/years onto it know nothing.
