Im not against scouting everywhere. We should have multiple scouts in every single continent. I think Argentina and Brazil are hard to get value for money but Ecuador/Chile/Paraguay are a very good standard of league. Brighton been successful in them markets in particular

Aye, this is that boy. Watched some vids earlier, reminded me of Broony when he was younger, proper box to box with a good tackle in him. Looked handy going forward too. He's only 20 so plenty of scope to improve.

Still think we need another midfielder though, even if we do sign this boy.

Sell both O'Riley and Turnbull and bring this boy and a more experienced midfielder in. Have them compete with Mooy for the third midfield slot.

He's playing primarily as a DM for a not very good Tokyo team this season mate so that's not been his job in the team. If anything he's been a bit like their version of McGregor winning the ball and building the play.

That being said, I see him more as defensively minded midfielder than a creator so i'm guessing we'll also be looking to bring in a more creative midfielder alongside him.

J League DMs are they really solid enough for us our midfield has been bullied the last few games. I would like someone with a bit more dig and bite. In danger of having too many J League players

 

While I don't agree with this notion per se, I can kind of see where you're coming from. Currently, we're at about a 50% success rate on Japanese signings. Of course this could increase significantly if Iwata and Kobayashi come good (I have more faith in the former).

I wouldn't mind Matsuki as a box-to-box option, but I can't help but feel we need a big strong * in the middle. Iwata was supposed to be that guy and still might be, but being a strong powerhouse in the J League is world's apart from being one in the SPFL, never mind the CL/EL.

I want Ito though because he looks technically brilliant.
