Yeah he hasn’t really come out and said anything ahead of time. He was ultra dismissive but that could just be down to how he was feeling at the time and trying to stop getting future questions.

AEK ATHENS last night warned that Celtic target Levi Garcia is not for sale at any price.

SunSport revealed Hoops scouts had watched the 18-goal Trinidad & Tobago winger in action.

But AEK chief Dimitris Melissanidis insists the Greek double winners will keep Garcia for Champions League qualifiers at least.

He said: “Levi is NOT for sale. We’ll happily suck it up and we’ll see later.

“I don’t want to sell him. I want to enjoy him. Do you think everything in life is about money?

Whilst a deal for Garcia now looks unlikely for Celtic, Hoops boss Ange Postecoglou insists the club are moving quickly to secure new signings for next seasons.

But he admits it could be a while before any announcements are made as the summer market will be "tricky" for the treble chasers.

Speaking after the 5-0 win over Aberdeen, the manager said: “We’re not close to confirming anyone but our work started a while back. It’s an ongoing thing.

"I think this transfer market potentially could be a tricky one for us. It’s the first one where potentially they could come for some of our key players.

“We’ve got to be ready for that. We’ve got to insure ourselves against those kinds of things happening. We’ve identified players we think can make us a better side but also the insurance is there if we lose a couple, that we’re still in good shape.

"Over the course of events those things will get announced. The work is always ongoing.”
