The football we're playing, the results we're getting, the individual performances across the squad, a fantastic manager. Playing our closest rivals off the park, one trophy in the bag and the league to follow. Great chance of doing another treble which is on the back of a decade of dominance where we won four trebles in a row along with 9 league titles on the trot. Savour it while it lasts, folks. Everything about being a Celtic fan right now just feels brilliant.

Yeah these are special times, you become so used to success that it's sometimes hard to fully appreciate it, but i think supporters are really enjoying our style of play under Ange.

This is some of the best fitbaw i've seen from a Celtic team. :ange2:

Just trying to enjoy it while it lasts because its hard to see us getting anyone better than Ange when he does leave in terms of performances, signing players and just his aura off the park as well. Will be devastated when he leaves and I just hope we go for someone with similar ilk and style. Some won't agree but even if we only won the double again I'd still love him and class it as a successful season.

The funny thing is, I can remember saying this during Rodgers stint and thinking it couldn’t get any better.

    This is infinetly better.

We are on the precipice of something special, I am literally jigging with excitement for Europe next season.

I genuinely don’t think we can go in with the same level of pessimism we did this, aye the quality at the top table is mind blowing but our collective will be able to do some damage in the first instance but more importantly if we do finish second in a Group somehow we’ll take a swing at someone in the knockout round, if we finish third a run in the Europa is well within our ability on this trajectory we’re on.

The football on offer is a joy to behold. Trophies are brilliant, but it's watching this fitbaw every week that's a real privilege.

We have a special manager, a special team, captain and club. Progress in Europe is what we NEED next.

Realistically 3rd in the CL groups and just getting past at least one KO in Europa would be progress in my eyes shuts the huns up with their no KO win in 18 year or whatever it is.

Like above I'm really just enjoying how we're playing and how confident I am in the team. In two of the last three games we've went a goal down and I felt totally confident we would comeback and win , testament to how good we play under Ange.

Agree with the posts above on two major points:
    • Success we're used to, but the quality of football and standard of performances is truly outstanding
    • Europe next season is where we'll really measure ourselves
Last season was a free hit in terms of Europe with so many new players coming in and implementing his style. This year we al hoped with the relatively kind draw we could scrape something and at least restore some home form to take a scalp but injuries to McGregor and Starfelt really affected us.

Next season is the big one: the squad can cope with injuries; everyone knows the system and it's now second nature to most of the players; Ange knows now the level we are competing with at the top table and can tweak to improve us in that environment.

It's a special time and you get that feeling there's still more to come. Absolutely loving the journey and for it all to be off the back of that awful COVID season makes it all the sweeter :ynwacelti

I’ve got a connection with this team I’ve only had a few times at Celtic, there’s always the love for your team but sometimes it’s elevated. Was MON’s the ultimate for me, I loved Lenny’s team first time round with Hooper, Ledley, Lustig, Broony etc. but this ones getting right up there for a special connection as MON’s.

And Ange especially. Look at him the end of the game today, he’s a guy who keeps a lid on his emotions. Sometimes it spills over and you can see his pure love and joy for us.

    And it’s utterly genuine.

Think it tends to be one of the teams you grow up with that you remain most fond of. A nod to the Invincible team for me too. I think I'm responsible for half of the youtube views of Rogic's winning goal against Aberdeen in the cup final. :giggle1:

Proper buzzing about it too. The only thing I don’t agree with is the idea that it’s not going to last forever. Okay.. it might not last FORVER.. but we are not relinquishing our dominance any time soon.

It’s always been my dream to see us in the CL last 8. It’s a genuine possibility with Ange at the helm and that just fills me with pure excitement. Last 8 is where you can genuinely think “* it anything can happen from here”. Imagine the build up to that QF game.. it would be utter madness. Here’s hoping.

If we took some of our 300 chances, we would've made it this year. We're not talking we half chances either. Proper how the * did we miss chances. Actually stats wise we ended up with the same chances and conceded chances as psg who topped their group. Get a good draw and the sky's the limit.

For me, the most promising signs are those outside the pitch. We have, after so many years, a CEO that cooperates with the manager and supports him. This is the difference that is enabling us to strengthen the team and progress. Rodgers was good, but the coordination between him, the scouts and the board was shocking. Lennon was toyed with, and never really trusted, even after delivering actual European results, in two separate seasons. We are now buying outside of transfer windows, and have tapped into the markets of dirt cheap, fanatical players with decent technique.

I think the next CL will be quite exciting. As a Celtic fan, and a fan of Japanese/Korean football, I'm slowly slipping into insane wet dreams. East Asian assaults wreaking havoc at oil-stained middens of Europe's elite.:56:

there is a grit and work ethic about this side that hasnt been matched im all my years of watching. i think we have had better players at times which has seen us make the decisive difference but presently its the whole squad working as a unit . on any given match there could be half a dozen motm contenders. the most exciting thing is i think there is still scope for improvement
