rfc outspending us. why?

the darkness are panick buying but we should spend a little extra on 2 top signings just to make sure theyre buried:icon_mrgreen:

Call it a big risk by Celtic
either way they are outspending us.
Personally couldn't care too much about what they are spending but I do care about what celtic are doing about improving the squad and right now that seems to be very little.
for those who call it panic buying if you want but don't be as silly to believe they're buying crap with the money :
the 2.5m defender walked straight into the team and played well.
Perdo mendes had an outstanding first game against hearts.
Lafferty- for all i didn't want him, who here would be complaining with a new guy setting up a goal in his first game and scoring in his second?

We've bought samaras who's had 4mins game time for 1.2million
and a 3million quid defender who we're not sure if he'll be a first teamer.

they have improved on last season they've signed atleast 3 first team players
we havn't signed any first teamers.

 

Totally agree we should be building from a position of strength, thats what all the most successful teams in the world do.

 

wait wait all is well we are meant to be signing shaun maloney.......that will put the shiters right up the huns..... i agree with Colin McRae we need to spend on some quality and no folk who are gonna sit on their * on the bench most of the season......get spending ya bassart strachan and am one of the folk who backed WGS from the begining and i still do but he needs to get some talent in !!

 

seems as though were just buyin squad players when we actually need a couple of quality players that can walk straight into the team but i think we r struggling to attract these players because its the spl as mc fadden said today he would nt entertain a move to glasgow!Whats his beef?

 

its funny that we reckon the new rangers players are all panic buys and all pish players that have been signed,

its funny that pedro mendes was heavily linked with us last year but everyone thought he would be a great addition, all of a sudden he is pish

personally i dont feel rangers signings so far are pish but what i do feel a bit * off with is that we have not signed a player to fit straight into the team but rangers has done just that.

we just got the title last season, rangers has caught up and we have stalled, its all very well paying back 18m in debt but you need to spend to improve the squad and with the signings we have made only two of them may make a mark

 

its the expectation then the hassle that comes with that.....i think faddy has always had his heart set on playing his best days in england think if faddy ever came to celtic it'd be for the last 2 or 3 years of his career.

Totally agree Colin McRae, I only saw highlights of yesterdays game and while I feel that DUFC are a strong team just now I think that our start to the season has been lacklustre. I know that it's just the start of the season but we need at least a couple of new signings to get the team up to scratch for not only the SPL challenge but the Chanmps league. Theres just something lacking about us at the mo..... A decent left back and a quality striker would make me very happy before the window closes.

 

If that,s the case he can * off then

 

its probably wise for him personally remember its a job to him....look at all the others that have been frozen out and almost ruined.....riordan, his ex team mate graveson, scott brown, stephen pearson, lee naylor (who was awesome down south) i just don't think he wants that to happen to him.

 

I see your point there however i,m just not too keen on players wanting to end there days at CP mind you Lambert done a job

 

When was the last time we watched a league game and afterwards said, "*, we were brilliant there. simply awsum, That was a great peformance,"?

personaly i cant mind.. we need some quality signings to improve!! woulda loved to see mendes coming here. but its not to be. am begining to get impatient, when will we actualy get a signing to get the buzz factor to get the enthusiasm going!! we definatly need sum1 that can bring in a difrent dimension to the team! a left bak tae?!

 

the game were we took 5 off of aberdeen at pittodrie last season...think it was wee robbos debut we were * hot that game total class.....why we can't do that now is beyond me

 

Rangers have had a good yank in the past....title winner here and proven in epl..

 

we dont get to see it often enough mate!!!
