I thought he played very well. Bit of rust there with not starting games but I think he goes under the radar a bit with what he brings to the team.

I'm with you, he can pick put a worldie pass but at the moment it's a bit all over the place when compared to Mooy.

Still nowhere near his best. Wasteful too often and gave away a few silly fouls. Good ball for Kyogo and another assist but overall no great.

I thought he played ok, you can tell he's been trying hard (especially defensively)
    Certainly an "A" for attitude

I feel for the guy just now. Little of what he is trying is coming off and he is visibly getting frustrated as * with himself, which is not great when he is already low on confidence.

He was a bit better last night and got the assist, but I feel like he really needs to learn how to put mistakes out of his head and just get on with the game rather than dwelling on them if he wants to go to the next level as a player.

Not good enough imo. Decent squad player and he has potential to get better. I like the guy but i did never understand the hype around him as i never thought he was That good.

Done ok but just looks devoid of any confidence right now. Some excellent passing and then some really sloppy passing. Needs a goal.

Feel there was just too much transfer speculation being thrown around him before he'd really done anything of major note.

Has big improvements he needs to make to his game and will have to knuckle down and use next season to rediscover his top form and get a big, big year under his belt.

Would be great to see him return to form for the run-in.

Just seems to be lacking confidence at the moment which kind of coincided with McGregor returning and him moving out of that no.6 role. Trying hard and must be doing well in training otherwise Ange wouldn't have him anywhere near the starting 11. He will come good - he seems to me that he has a fair bit of mental toughness to overcome previous back injury issues and the path he chose upon leaving Fulham?

He should be retrained as a 6. He deserves to play, but his skillset is not that of an advanced midfielder.

I think he played a fair bit of that holding midfielder role at his last club but thinks of himself as more of an 8.

Interestingly I was just watching the highlights of the 1st CL game against RM and he was fairly prominent in some of the chances created in that game so there is def a decent footballer there. I also forgot how good some of those chances were - take two of those chances and Jura slides in at Vini instead of watching him shoot and it is a completely different game.

A bit of rust and could really do with a goal, but overall a good game I thought. I noticed him getting annoyed with himself a few times after a bad pass or when he gave that free kick away right before half-time, which shows he has high standards and wants to improve. He's also consistently the first to congratulate teammates when they score. I like the guy.

A bit like Kyogo a few months ago. Trying too hard when he just needs to let it flow

Think all his problems would be solved if he shaved that wee chin beard.

If he’s still a bit part player come summer I’ll think he’ll want away and the fee will be pretty poor if he’s not playing. Hope he can recapture his form but will be hard with lack of opportunities he’ll probably get. You come into the team and don’t have a great game then you’re back back out here. Rarely get two or three games in a row to get back upto to it, sames happening with Abada.

He was already on the radar of some english teams when we signed him, don't think we'd have any problem getting a decent fee with his age and potential if he was to leave any time soon.

Since he played that deeper role he hasn't looked himself, when back further up the pitch. Maybe trying to take more responsibility on that side has affected him. Being used sparingly since then as well probably hasn't helped.

Some interesting stats on him, didn't realise he was our top for assists, also creates the 2nd most amount of chances per game.
