For months this website was full of rubbish about wanting to sack GS and his terrible signings. About how Magic was crap, Camara was the worst player they had ever seen and how Boruc was a poor mans Anti Niemi.

Where are these people now? Sure GS wasn't my first choice either but I've always got right behind the team and been positive, hence my 'Keep The Faith' slogan.

GS has handled the Bratislava depacle superbly. He has kept positve, kept his dignity and has always said what he thought and been straight with the fans. In the last 6 games, we have won 5, kept 4 clean sheets and the only one we lost was because of a debatable sending off after about 20 minutes. We still have Agathe, Du Wei, Varga, Kennedy, Pearson and Sutton to come back, along with some exciting youngsters like McManus, Maloney and Beattie who have been superb this season.

I applaud GS as he has made many changes to personel and we now have a good balance and shape about us. The future is bright. Hail! Hail!

    Hi Murphy7

the Thomo sending off wasnt debatable. He was red carded for being a * * who is a liability to the team. He should have been yeloowed against Aberdeen on saturday, the waste of space.

You are right about GS in general imho.

I was delighted in getting Strachy to CP.

The future is bright. After all the only way is up from last seasons disaster.

Mo Camara isnt and never will be the answer. But then again we will never have the money to 'buy' solutions whilst stucki in the SPL. I wish the guy well whilst at CP but he was attrocious his first few games but has picked it up since Ibrox.

One consolation for Celtic is that the huns are so pish at the moment we could open a fair old gap by chrimbo and I dont see GS allowing such a farsical self capitulation as MON did last term.

We had numerous threads and pools on the Thommo red card, many thought it was a red, but many (me for eg.) didn't think it was a red. It was a mis-timed challenge but was it any worse that the Camara challenge later in that game? I would say no and Mo didn't even get a booking. Apart from that I would agree with you on the rest of your post.

Thomo is a * on a mission. If it wasnt deliberate he should have walked for being a *.

His hand to ear incident at CP recently was the final straw for me.

He has cost us dearly, single handely against the huns too often for forgiveness.

Bye Thommo. Dont forget your stress ball on the way out.

I agree he's doing a good job now but that European humiliation has left a bad taste in my mouth that isn't going away, he hasn't won any big games yet.

Think of his goals at Anfield, the winner against Barca and Rosenborg as well as his numerous goals and assists against Rangers.

Thommo was one of our most consistent players for years, and one of our most dedicated.

You have a short memory HH.

Its how he has responded to our Euro exit that I am delighted with.

As for the last part, you can only beat who is infront of you.

That's all in the past... he's past it now. He should be dropped, I agree with HH. And Lennon should be spared aswell, and the captains band should be handed over to petrov. We look a far better attractive attacking side without Lennon and he should be straight swapped for Sutton when he gets back.

I'm afraid I dont have any time for hasbeens, especially ones who think they can stick their fingers up at the fans.

A short memory, wee man? I have a longer memory than you think.

Okay then, what about his 2 good goals which got us out of a huge whole against Falkirk.

Rangers and Artmedia where put infront of us... Two of the most important games so far this season and we failed to deliver. I'm keeping the faith though, but it's not time to jump aboard the Hail GS ship, yet.

    I'm a bit confused tbh.

If we're a better attacking side with Lennon, why would we immediately replace him?

The reality is, Strachan cost us 10million big ones and a whole season of nothing but scottish football. He has ALOT to do to prove himself yet.

I meant to say without, a bit of a spelling error.

If you read my posts I have always went on about his response to the "debacle" and it has been superb. I will access GS at the end of the season but I think the turn around at CP has been remarkable.

thats what the * is paid for (and handsomely at that)

To use an analogy ( a school one as he is acting like a right wean at the moment).....His attendance has been woeful as well as truculant and unrully when in class. Lets his class mates down.

Yeah I agree with Sanders on this don't get too exited about Strachan just yet bare in mind he's lost both the two big games this season so far 5-0 FartMedia and 3-1 Huns, I'll be relieved when I see us beating Hearts and Rangers at least twice each this season, lets see what he's like in those big games lost 2 out of 2 so far.

His response hasn't been so great at all. A great response would be to take 3 points from Fir park, and possibly 3 from Ibrox (but we'll not make a big fuss about rangers, since we weren't beating them 3 - 1 at half time.) If you think trailing hearts by 5 points is a great response, then your a nut job.
