He struggles to defend against tricky wingers with pace. Mudryk is one of the most dangerous wingers in Europe at the moment, it's no surprise that people would prefer Juranovic for this game.

Grand old team to play for
I prefer Ralston in most SPL games where GG is playing. He has a knack for picking the big Greek out with his crosses.

If we put Ralston up against Mudryk we'd be *.

I recall Juranovic getting left for dead when he scored last game, looked like he was running in sand so not sure who’s exactly faster between him and Ralston..

You're right, he got done once and Mudryk took advantage. That'll happen against top class players - generally speaking he handled him well. Ralston doesn't even come close when it comes to defending against tricky quick wingers, in my opinion, though he offers something totally unique in his physicality and output in the final third.

Ralston is not that good and he doesn't always get things right. This is me looking critically.

Are you saying Ralston would've fared better?

I love the guy but JJ is the best right back we have. No question.

Big part in that goal was mcgregor in the midfield. Juranovic wasn't in a terrible position.

It happens. He should start every European game.

Looks like I'm in a minority, but I just think if Mudryk bounces off of Ralston a few times he might think "* this"

I think Ralston backed up by Maeda would do the trick. In fact, Maeda's the key man to bottle Mudryk up, regardless of who plays RB.

Furuhashi to take 3+ shots on target and Jenz & Giakoumakis to be carded @ 80/1, worth a punt?

If Kyogo is going to be on long enough for 3 shots on target, is Giakoumakis going to be on long enough to get booked?

Feeling very flat about this tbh.

Only hope is that with a bit of pressure off our backs now maybe we’ll relax a little and take our chances. Won’t hold my breath though.

Agreed. I am worried our midfielders are tired, other than Abildgaard and McCarthy, but I'd be shocked if either started. I'm not sure if the Shakhtar manager has plans if trying a high press against us. In this situation, it might work.:54: They are far better than Hearts.

Just win pls and give ourselves a chance in the final game for 3rd, even if it is a slim one.

Good chunk of cash for a win so that would be nice as well.

Big game this just for overall belief in what Ange is doing for us in Europe. We need the win today to earn some respect and optimism for next season, while also giving us that outside chance of knockout football.

Waited years to get back here and some folk are chucking it because we aren’t getting last 16. There’s still a chance at EL and a chance at getting some points on the board in the CL.

Big European game under the lights at CP. Cant wait.

When's team out? Holding out see what bets to do for first goal scorer. Have score on 4-3 gets 1820e. Wanting to see who's playing up top first for first goal scorer
