Oh so if we can't beat them, join them? I thought we strove to be better than follow follow or are we just trying to be the Celtic equivelent now?

How do you know he'll be there singing billy boy songs?? He may be there just to support a football team. There is no defence for Dubsbhoy, he is a Super Moderator for christ sake. He started the offensive remarks and had the cheek to back-track and ask BigAlan if he wanted to talk football instead of * when he was clearly in some decent "banter" with many members.

when do we ever get the chance to hear from a rangers supporter give an honest opinion on his team and ours without any *?? it was interesting to read his postings, i'm * off he logged off because a few members were disrespectful. He even paid his respects to Jock Stein. I don't think he sounded like someone who would jump betwean forums telling the "follow follow" brigade he was winding us up, he didn't say anything offensive, he clearly wanted to talk football.
I for one welcome him back on the TalkCeltic forum. It's as name states a forum to talk celtic and he was asking our opinions on Celtic and rangers and giving some himself.

After some thought I decided to log back on and I thank the members who don't mind my input, thanks for the emails. To clear a few things, I normally post on the rangers forum on BBC, follow follow is not a forum I visit. I did some time back but the topic always went to foul mouthed insults etc, and that's betwean rangers supporters???? I did see some Celtic fans on that forum getting dogs abuse, but they were only on to post insults etc so it was little wonder they were banned. I enjoy football and thought it would be interesting to exchange some views about Celtic and Rangers with the people on this site. I'm not a bigot, and I won't be getting involved in any posts that target my religion. I have never sang a sectarian song in my life, and never will. I'm a rangers supporter who gets to the games when I can, if not I go watch the juniors and even went to Firhill to see Scotland U19 last week. To Zamasbhoy: I read your post and thank you for seeing my side of things, hope we get the chance to exchange some views in the future.

welcome back BigAlan. I hope you return often to discuss football. there will always be a few in any public forum who will take offence and post insults, although most people in TalkCeltic are decent supporters who I'm sure would welcome some "football banter" with you.
So, come on, do you really think there is a chance rangers will progress in the CL? It's a shaky start to the season for you, and I think Celtic have pulled thing together, although the defence still needs to settle. rangers on the other hand don't seam to know where to turn.

Apart from winning the Old Firm game, I admit we have not started well, but it's a long season. If we can select our best 11 and play a formation that suits them then I think we will turn things around. Like Celtic I think our defence needs to settle, and the midfield at times is not taking control of games the way they should. As for Porto, they are not in good shape ATM, all I'm saying is that I'd rather play them know than the team that won the CL, the manager is getting heavy stick and I feel we can take advantage, and I think we will.

No need to use foul language M8. How many Celtic fans were not worried after CL exit and 4-4 at Motherwell???? three weeks later and your in heaven.

aye aye bigalan , although some may disagree its fine to see a hun who is not here just to abuse the members on this site.
i welcome your disscussion points and tend to agree with some points and those of fellow members here .
if you look a the situation we have in the league just now its easy to see that rangers are struggling to get it together . its not just the fact that im a loyal celt and have been since i was a nipper . but watching the old firm game , i still thought that after thomo going off that we were still the better team.
we are improving you are not , if anything you are getting worse, ive spoken to a hun today who told me falkirk were all over you. i'll have to see highlights to make my mind up.
but which way forward do you take now ? new boss , new players? i think personally eck would not be here if we hadnt slipped up last season.
just check the reactions in the press tommorrow.
we have loyalty at celtic . faithful through and through.
not the same at ibrox? a few more losses and your gate will fall.

I never once said that Celtic are in a stable situation, did I? I'm just stating facts. 10 points from 18 points is absolutely dreadful for an old firm team and no other word than PISH can be used. Happy drinking :50:

yes yer right, we are poor ATM, I've said it a few times. I don't think Eck knows his best 11. As history shows the support may fall if poor results continue. I just don't see it can get any worse, when did Rangers or Celtic struggle for more than 1 month???? It'll come good and I think we will soon be back up there fighting for top spot.
    ps, i'm not a "hun"

... Isn't a "hun" either an ancient marauder from the Steppes or a Rangers fan, which you are? :97:

TO) Big Gay Al From Southpark, Al I still think the Gulf in the SPL is massive I think you've got your two good teams Celtic and Hearts, then you've got the other dross that're all as good as eachother like Kilmarnock, Aberdeen, Hibs and Rangers etc, nothing's really changed in this league it's still a two horse race.
