Best midfield?

I was just wonderingwhat is the best midfield for us?
For me I would like to see

Mcgeady--Robson--Brown --Naka

I just dont like to see hartley slow our play down.
your opinions and first choice midfield?

It depends on who and where we play. I don't think we need Hartley for the home games unless he steps up from the holding position. I'd have Robson back in the middle where he played so well last season. The key to it all is Naka returning as we never look like creating much without him. When's he back anyway?

Of course this will never happen because Strachan's nursery school teacher neglected to teach him left from right.

 

i would have naka in the centre mate, feel he's too lightweight on the wing imo.

also he isn't in the game as much out wide, whereas in the centre he dictates play.

assuming crosas is what he sounds

although i would maybe like to see caddis playing occasionally because i think he is a brilliant winger so imay even consider playing five in the midfield

i feel hartley keeps the ball well though but is not a midfielder who is agoal scorer or creates several chances and brown hasn't came on form yet but if he does then i would consider putting him in the centre!

I'll look forward to seeing this in Europe although no doubt Hartley will be in there. Would also having Caddis coming on late and running at players unless he'd be a right back.

 

how can anyone put crosas is there? hes only had a handfull of senior (no pun intended) games

Thats what i want to see some variations celtics play can sometimes be too predictable, we do look this year to have more options in midfield wether this gets used to good effect we'll see. The midfield is a bit conjested at cp but you can never have too many good players hopefully with a bit of variation we can suprise the opposition. Good thing tho that we have good players that can change the direction of the game as substitutes

 

How can you possibly put Crosas in there just now? You haven't even seen him play yet!!! lol

Maybe Crosas will force his way in but that's what I'd start with at Tannadice anyway.

Up untill early \ mid season last year i was worried about hartley, but he has improved greatly and i WANT him in the team, he is rugged and tough and is still in the process of establishing himself in team, last season he put paid to a couple of Rangers 'starlets' which help us win the league, we need his agression, there is plenty more to come from him, and i think he should be one of our 1st choice players!
