Thank * and long over due.

With lawwall finally gone and now bankier leaving, we truly may see a new dawn.

Nicholson on the early signs has done well, ends this window forming up the squad and backing Ange with the last few players he may need, will be ideal.

New face again to replace bankier really is a great opportunity for the club to be run differently.

I'm trying not to think about the likely hood of that * lawwall coming back in, let's just hope he won't bother even asking for the job.

Other than the 'critically racist' comments he made (which he then clarified), what do people have against him?

Generally I feel the board has held Celtic back too often over the decade and he has been the chairman of the board.

    Why though?

Heard someone say they 'know for a fact' Lawwell wants it.

Based on European results mostly? Domestic success has been unparalleled.

European results has been the big one.

I feel like there was a general lack of oversight of Lawwell at various times that led to an enormous waste of resources. Allowing him to re-appoint Lennon without due diligence was pretty poor.

I can see your point, we should've been more consistent in Europe over the past ten years or so, even taking into consideration that the top level is further away from us due to finances now. I get that there are times where individual errors from players have cost us but going into qualifiers under prepared has cost us more than it should.

I don't really know much about Bankier. A mate's Dad worked with him at one point in his career and claimed he was a * but that's all I have to go on, which isn't much. I was just curious because of the general consensus that him leaving is a good thing. It's clear that he was well thought of by his peers and based on that I assume the planning/overseeing part of his job demonstrated his competence in those areas.

As you alluded to the evidence we can see, in terms of appointments for the first team and the general infrastructure of the club, hasn't been as good as it could be. I did like the thinking of the Deila appointment, it was a forward thinking move in terms of trying to become more modern in our operation. It was made easier by the fact that Rangers died (haha girfu them). Rodgers was a great appointment too, but then he was obviously left frustrated by Lawwell & co hence why he left, to go on to make the Lennon appointment which did just seem lazy at the time.

We need a talented communicator in the role next, ideally someone in their 40's.

Just can’t get enough Depeche mode
    Lets be honest here

We have one competitor to the league which i’m sure we can all agree. That competitor died giving us practically the league to ourselves, it would of been harder to not win domestically. I’m certainly not going to rush giving praise to anyone in the board credit for that. Sure, they have done well balancing the books and not following the same path as oldco. I know some will find that to accept but it’s the truth.

Our record in Europe is embarrassing and i’m glad to start seeing these Tory relics move on.

I’m sure he may of done some good in the back ground but he is so out of touch with the fanbase and history of the club.

Hope we get someone that’s better suited but I fear it will just be another one of Dermots minions that will take that role.

Should’ve been chased years ago. I genuinely wonder if he is all there in the head.

As for those saying he probably did good for the club. The only thing he did was describe the support as ‘criminally racist’ at an AGM to take attention away from Lawwell.

No doubt he’ll be replaced by Lawwell, who was pictured leaving the stadium in club tie on the last game of last season.
