Could well end up being the player with the most defining moments over the season when it’s all said and done.

Feels like any tight or big game he does something to help bail us out.

 

What a game today. Dragged us through that second half, some engine on him

 

Loves a celebration too. Thought him and Abada jumping all over Giakomakas at the third was brilliant.

 

Ralston gives drive and determination when others are flagging.Him and Abada play well together.Would certainly give him a run in the team.

 

I know big GG was always going to get MOM but Ralston was my MOM

 

His fitness levels are very impressive! Goes to the final whistle, real fight and determination from him every game, while I’d rather have Juranovic at RB, Taylor isn’t good enough IMO, so best option is Juranovic LB Ralston RB. Think we’re a way better side with Ralston in the team. Taylor, while capable of a great performance, is typically pretty woeful.

He’s on a run in the team and has been all season barring injury or rested

 

That’s him now top assister for us in the league - goes above Rogic and Abada after the weekend there.

And a lot of it comes from overlapping, something we're missing on the left flank. Maybe someone more up to speed with tactics can clarify here, but is Ralston kinda going against the inverted FB role by overlapping so often?

 

Think it’s more to do with the winger in front of him. Abada will cut in higher up towards the half way line to allow ralston space to run into whereas jota Will hold position out wide deep in opponents half

 

Not sure about going against what an inverted FB does.

I would say he does a lot of forward runs and they aren't all overlaps. A lot are onto the edge or into the box itself too. I assume they work on what sort of runs to make under various situations so would imagine it's part of Anges tactics for how Ralston is to play regardless.

 

As Ange has formed this team the spirit determination and ability has grown week on week, however when it comes to a "crazy *" (in a good way) who will charge the length of the pitch to stick in a tackle, even a score or back-up another player, then Ralston is one of the few guts & glory players that we have........I luv it

 

Think it’s probably just the sheer amount of running he does. A lot of his overlaps come from him running from the inside to the outside.

 

It’s at the stage now, even though I think Juranovic is the better right back, think that Ralston has to start there going forward and move Juranovic over to left back. See from his numbers how important he is for us !!

 

He is virtually sending himself home happy ,same with Welsh and its something we have to remind ourselves wen giving them * on here .

 

I would give him the rb position all the time.
He was an unused sub against Bodo Glimt,against the huns and away to Hearts.Hope he starts against Hibs.
