    IRA and KKK are similar in ways that KKK wanted blacks mainly out of yankee land and IRA wanted Brits out from Eire but for a better reason. what your opions on this ? :celt_2:

    And I was trying to find a photo to show in this post that showed members of the orange order with a banner showing the orange order and the kkk with a slogan along the lines of "remembering our heritage and history" but I couldn't find it..

    I don't even know where to start on this ridiculous question. They had totally different motives and reasons. The KKK wanted to eliminate the black people of America for no other reason than the colour of their skin. They didn't care who you were, being black was enough to have you strung up on a tree ffs. As for the IRA, well they wanted to remove an occupying force from their own country who had taken over and treated the people like * along with trying to remove their Irish identity...

    The thing with the kkk is that they want all the blacks out of "their country" that white people stole of native americans. But it was whites who took blacks to america in the first place, just idiots really.

    Been away from the forum for a while....... seems the bams have taken over. KKK/IRA!!

    what a joke! provobhoy, get a grip and read up on your history son, you couldn't find two organisations more opposed to each other. FFS! the only similarity I can come up with is that they both advocated the use of violence to further their cause...... causes which were pretty much complete opposites, then again that depends who you are.... one mans freedom fighter etc...

    this is a daft thread mate, if you even sat down for a minute and thought about it before you put it up you wouldn't have bothered.
