Erm, if you were a proper fan of Irish football you'd realise that Kilkenny City have gone up the swanny.

yip i am season ticket holder with Derry and i love celtic . but am i a celtic suporter i dont know ,you can only call your self a supporter i think if you go to celtic matches not just where the jumper or watch them on tv, i would love to take in a match .

I wonder why Kilkenny went to the wall,if you ask them they will tell you people like you would,nt get of their fat arses and support the team, rather sit in the pub in the nice heat and watch the match. i go to all Derry matches home and away.

    SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL TEAM

I was talking to him when he phoned up to get Setanta Sports for the Celtic v Middlesbrough game(what a waste of time that was). Told him I was star struck to be in his presence lol! He be ok but dont think he ever gona make it into a starting line up, we got to many midfielders (is he even a midfielder) will jus have to wait and see.:celt_2:

Of course, all Celtic fans that can't get to matches for not having enough money, living on the other side of the world, etc are all false supporters.

Whats the latest with Paddy, is he still injured? Any chance he will get a run-out in the Feyenoord tournament?

I don't think it is, i have been to Celtic Park to see Celtic once. If i were to say im a im a Celtic supporter it would IMHO be hypercritical.

I know people that say they are Celtic to the core and have never been to Parkhead, that is not supporting them IMO.You can buy all the tops all the jersey but if you dont go to games you cant really call yourself a Celtic supporter.

I wont buy a hoop jersey tho i did buy a couple of away ones anyone that follows irish football will know why being a Bohs man i wont buy a hoop top.

Maybe this calls for a separate thread.

I think we have nothing to lose on paddy. I think the huns are * it in case he really is good. Cant wait to see him, and i'll say it again, we have nothing to lose so no pressure on the lad, i think he will turn out to be a fans favourite! PS i am going to change avvatar to kaunas if they * huns next week, even though i will never, ever thank Zenit enough for what they did.

I think paddy mccourt will be a big success for celtic. he has to be one of the best players i have seen in the eircom league in a long time. and there has been some great players. so killkenny man don't talk about a player when you have not seen him play. all you are is an armchair supporter.

    UP THE CITY!

Good luck to Celtic in the new season.
