Rangers play 1-2 touch football very well, so we better get our * together ASAP.

Scraped it today but bigger test in the next game. Another must win game away to Motherwell, they have nearly 2 weeks to prepare for the game , we have players away travelling on International duty, our preparation is going to be hindered. If we were flying high and putting teams to the sword with good performances it wouldn't be a problem but how are we meant to prepare when half the team or more maybe away, after todays performance we need some time to sort it out..

 

A big three points no doubt about it. We had to dig in and show some grit which was good to see. I still think a different manager sees us become a good team. We have a good spine and some good players suited to a different style than the one we are playing but a good three points today.

 

Been saying since Thursday that it was all about the result today rather than the performance.

It was difficult viewing at times today. Second half particularly. However we got the job done and that sort of win should be a huge confidence booster for the manager and team.

The international break has come at the perfect time for us. We NEED to be firing on all cylinders come 16th October for the game against Motherwell. We just need to hope that our players don’t pick up any injuries on international duty. I think it’s madness that McGregor is going to play for Scotland after just recovering from a knock.

 

This win removes pressure so now watch these shots that hit the post 12 times a game suddenly go in.

I don't like this passing out the back so dangerously but it does bring the other team out from the bus. I'm back to being hopeful.

 

Scrappy as * but great to get the win today. We've played some good football at times this season, but we've lacked resilience and a real winners mentality. Getting through games like today with 3 points definitely helps.

If we can follow it up with wins at Fir Park and Easter Road we'll be well on our way.

 

First away game in a long time. Amazing atmosphere. Fans at the end were superb.

Madden is a complete *. Dreadful refereeing.

 

We had 29 fouls given against us today from Madden,shocking refereeing.

 

We were giving away a lot of daft freekicks but he was blowing got absolutely everything. Everytime they went over..

Funnily enough after we got the second goal, he left his whistle at home and was giving us zero freekicks....everything was play on and in a rush as the sheep needed an equaliser..

Rat. Also got in the way of quite a few of our moves when a pass was on..

He was the exact same at Tynecastle. Him and his cronies put on a master display in how to * us in a game..

 

This has been happening on a weekly basis recently. Theres been some shockers like goals wrongly ruled out and missed red cards but this with referees completing killing games with blowing for a foul every time we make a challenge. Made worse by the fact the other teams being allowed to go right through you without even getting freekicks is a big part of our games petering out.

 

Like it or not the refs are going to have a big say in who wins the league and just look at today the zombies struggling and the ref takes action and changes the game .

 

The truth is we need to shoot more and not try to walk the ball into the net. With a player like Kyogo you know that any shot blocked by the keeper and falls loose will be snapped up by him and in the net.

 

Frankly I think we were lucky to come away with the 3 points but am also very happy that we did because the match looked to me as heading for a draw till Rogic came on and changed the game.

Brown should have scored with that power header that came straight to Hart instead. The referee was against us. Giakoumakis should have come on, not Ajeti. He is a much better header of the ball.

We are so susceptable to set piece goals that it is scary. We need defenders attacking that ball and heading it away - Welsh needs to play also.

I can see how Brown was such an influential player at Celtic . Apart from being a good player he was also an intimidating presence and demanded respect. The shaved head just added to that presence.

Montgomery is improving every game. He is playing with the big boys now and as a defender he needs to be respected by teams too. Time to put your game face on to match your skills lad. Get rid of that boyish fringe and comb your hair to the side with gel or get a military haircut. That position will be yours for the taking.

 

Jota must soon score from far out. He just keeps hitting that woodwork. Lower your gun sights lad !

 

I don’t get what you mean by that. Are you saying Porteous didn’t deserve a sending off?

 

Never a red a yellow at most and it's seems to happen when they are losing .
