It wont be official until he arrives in Glasgow, it will probably be tomorrow or friday. I doubt he'll be registered in time for the Mirren match but we shouldnt need him for that.

    Exactly what? lol

It says "Celtic seal Crosas deal" which they have. In terms of sealing a deal with Barca, we've done that, now it's just a case of the player putting pen to paper.

Please don't start doubting this move.. Other than McCourt it's the most enthusiasm I've heard from a player we're trying to sign this season.

IMO the hard part of this deal is done, getting Barca to agree. Everyhing Marc has said suggest he wants to come to Celtic, so I think its just a matter of getting everything sorted when we gets here, probably tommorow.

IMO he is as good as signed.

Yep, in a situation like this, we are just waiting for the player to arrive in Glasgow to do the formalities, sign the contract proper, change his registration, and pose for the media in the hoops. The club is now focussed on the Man City match, tomorrow is when you'll see the club show off to the media.

In your last post you said; "The deal isn't completed" - and that were what I say "exactly" about.

I don't doubt the deal we be completed within the next three days, but I'm not the type who takes anything for granted when we talks about football, so I won't call the deal sealed before Crosas stands with Hoops on Celtic Park.

The Catalan playmaker rose through the ranks at Camp Nou after joining the club at 13, but recognised that breaking into the first team was going to almost impossible this season.

Pep Guardiola told Crosas that he could stay and try and earn a place but that his chances would be very limited after he returned from a six-month loan spell with Olympique Lyonnais.

Now the 20-year-old is aiming to prove that his career will not suffer because he has left the Blaugrana and is relishing testing himself with the Bhoys.

"Football does not begin and end with Barça," he told Sport. "I have finished that chapter in my life now because I have known from the start that they would not count on me.

"In the world of football you have to be intelligent and see how many players they have signed and what a great squad they now have.

"I only regret not being able to show if I had the quality to succeed here or not.

"You always think about making it into the first team, but not everyone can do that and it is clear that things do not begin and end here.

"My aim now is to become the player I know I can be and then people will know if I could have succeeded at Barça."

Crosas had numerous offers but revealed that the work that Celtic put in to try and make him go to Parkhead is what swung his decision to join them.

"The great interest from Celtic persuaded me," he added.

I think the only thing holding the deal up at the moment is a medical at Lennoxtown, and that's about it. I can't see a player talking about his new team if wages/contract hadn't been agreed.

Furthermore, Barca's clauses about the player returning are clauses that will be in his contract, so contract details and terms have been discussed, it seems.

    Can anyone translate this????
