He has not delivered in over 18mths and everyone can see that. I'm sure even you...

 

He scored 24 goals last season. Was he at his best? No, but neither were half the team. He goes and I hope he kills it down there.

 

No one delivered for us last season except Turnbull for the few months he played for * sake.

 

He has been hot and cold, it’s not been 18 months. It’s no surprise it happened while Lennon was in charge and it was starting to pick up now Ange is in.

Im not going to be a baby about it. The ones what call him a sulk etc are the biggest * sulkers here.

I wish him all the best. He’s given me numerous memories that’ll suck with me my entire life supporting Celtic.

 

Folk should stop with the 18 month patter - it’s hyperbole and devalues any type of argument you have.

He had the same * 12 months as McGregor, Ajer, Brown, Christie, Rogic etc. etc. under senior Neil Lennon ffs

The difference is he actually brought something positive to the table (goals) unlike any of the above..

 

He is a good player, no question but he (along with others last season) let us down badly when we needed them most. He puts in half hearted performances and his attitude is not befitting of a Celtic player...

Interesting move for Eddie, he has always come across as a good forward for a dominant team with his style, which Crystal Palace won't be. He clearly has technical ability. But I am unsure whether he is the right kind of forwad for a team like Palace. Interested to see how he does. If I had to put a punt on it I would say he will be punted within 6 games for Benteke.

You ever actually watched him before last season? He always sulked about the pitch, was never a type that would run himself into the ground for the team.

People talk about revisionism but lets not forget ferencvaros, no doubt decided he didn't want to play

 

He's been an excellent player for us, in my opinion the best striker we've had since Larsson. Disappointing last year and a half, cant excuse his sulky attitude but to be fair when a player as good as him is being coached by someone as * as Lennon i don't blame him for sulking nor any of the other players who suffered during that period, that said he could of at least tried a little harder! Anyhow a great player hope he does well at Palace.

Absolutely shambolic how we won't go out and replace him and Kyogo doesn't count, Kyogo should be the standard of player we aim to sign regardless of who goes.

 

I agree to an extent with most of what you say there except Ajer. Ajer IMHO was player of the year last year and cannot be lumped in with the others in terms of the shambles that was last season.

 

A good player for most of his time with Celtic yes. Best striker since Larsson I cannot agree with that at all. Hooper and Dembele were easily ahead of Edouard IMHO off the top of my head.
