We give the ball away a comical amount when teams press. We all know defence is a huge issue, but the Midfield is too.

I dunno if we’re expecting too much. We know the defence is * and now it’s bein tested properly, the mistakes that had been masked domestically because of our good forward play, are returning to the fore.
Starfelt looks mince. We know we still need reinforcements in CB area but I will concede why has it not happened yet?
However, after bein 2 up then scoring first, we seem to lack game management to close the game out.
Many of us were prepared to write this year off for a rebuild but many got excited by how we’ve been playing particularly middle to front.
Yet the same * still remains at the back. Ange needs time and reinforcements.
Yet it’s all the more annoying considering when we looked to have done it but shoot ourselves in the foot.

And yet we concede similar on a regular basis. Serious question.......when was the last time an opponent had to work hard to score a goal against us?

I agree some are OTT but Ange can change things because it’s clearly not working in this game.

He would only need to make one change and move some players around and we would look much better.

cause playing this way definately highlights your weakest points

the board really should be taking note of where these weaknesses are an support him with signings

the critisism i have is our ability to slow the game down and keep the ball something we were good at for years and which we should probably have done after we scored our goal

 

Yup, I also know how European football works. Like I said already we are the away team, two calamitous goals, we've shot our self in the foot twice but we're still ahead in the tie. Folk just need to chill out.

Thank f%#$ they sold their best players in the summer thank f%#$ Lennon isn’t still the manager. They’re a good outfit, make no mistake about it. Dilemma for Ange — does he stick to his high press play or tighten up? Think we’ll scrape through this by the skin of our teeth, and if we do, we’ll beat the currants by 2 goals on Sunday, imo.

Ps: young Montgomery has done ever so well since coming on.

 

Defending has become a bit of a nightmare for us last season and in Europe this season so far Its as if the slightest bit of pressure the panic sets in

 

I said it months ago and I’ll say it now, we massively lack athleticism all over the pitch
