Stokes is a bit like Griffiths an idiot who should have achieved so much more with the talent he had. But your absolutely right Ciftci was a disaster during his short spell at Celtic. Stokes on the other hand made some significant contributions in winning titles during his time at the club and helped himself to a respectable haul of goals.

Well yes, this is what I meant. He has a potential, could be good or not so much. I haven't seen him play much so I may judge him to harshly, but
when Edouard leaves we should probably look to add different kind of player than Nisbet.

    We should and we will.

But we need two strikers. One to replace edouard and one to provide back up and a challenge as if we are all being honest I don't think Ajeti can be relied upon.

    And Griffiths should be booted.

Seen that he wasn't in the squad today. Legitimate injury or transfer close? :fear:

I think Tam Mcmanus said it was a calf strain or similar but i think we will bid for him before the window closes. Dont think we should leave it too late because id imagine Brum will be back in for him as well as a few others down south

Really surprised we havnt bid for him yet. I think he would score a lot of goals for us. We should be trying to bring him in. I cant see them knocking back £2m-£3m for him.

Maybe hes the 2nd choice after Henry? If we fail to bring him in maybe move for Nisbet then

    I'd sign both.

Offload Griffiths and ajeti between now and January. That's about 45k worth of wages alone.

Get him in anyway. He’d score loads for us.

    100% agree.

I'd include Griffiths in any deal for Nesbit, no question. Surely they wouldn't turn down cash and Griffiths.

Watched first half of Hibs game yesterday, missed his goal. His hold up/link up play was decent, got strength.
We could offer cash and Griff, pay Griffs wages even.
Even offer them Ajeti on loan.
Just reckon there is a deal to be done, suspect offloading Eddy will be central to getting him or Henry in.

Ajeti isn't going to Hibs on loan.

With Doidge out for 4 months I think Hibs could be hesitant unless we offer a very good deal.

    The question is, to who?

Ajeti we might be able to get a transfer fee for but it'll likely be at a loss on what we paid.

For Griffiths, at best we'll find a club that will pay a minimal % of his weekly wage. Unfortunately there's no outcome that's going to work out financially good for us with him, it's a damage limitation job. If Hibs even offered £500 a week for him, I'd accept just to have him away from the club.

I think Ajeti could get a club quite easily tbh, on the continent. If we can offload the likes of Bayo etc without major issue we can do the same with Ajeti, given his CV.

Griffiths is the challenge as you say. For various reasons.

Ajeti will be on stupid money compared to Bayo though.

As always wages is the problem when it comes to offloading our duds.
