That intricate play between Rogic and Kyogo that led to Kyogo’s first big miss was sublime. That goes in and we are all

Thought he was good today after a couple of early nervy touches. Was even closing down in the press.

 

Aye that was the Rogic we all know and love. I think he quietly had a great game yesterday and of course got a goal.

I maintain that we click better when Rogic is playing in that attacking midfield role. He is also someone I feel needs to start games rather than used as a substitute. Makes a far better impact when he's in the first eleven.

 

Definitely plays better with the time to make an impact. He’s so good at taking the ball in tight spaces and continuing the forward momentum while very rarely losing it. Get his confidence back and with guys like Kyogo and Abada running in behind, it’s only a matter of time before he’s flying again.

You saw what we miss at times, his foot work and passing in that area is second to none at the club.

Celtic on fire would surely see rogic in the "number 10" role supporting the striker.

He is a role specialist. Give him the AM role, and surround him with runners, and he will flourish. I'd keep him for this season at least. What I cannot understand, for the love of *, is why no manager had him be the set piece taker.

Exactly. I keep remembering that one, and wondering why doesn't he claim the ball? McGregor and Christie have tried loads, but their conversion rate is bad. I bet Rogić would score some.

 

Had to pinch myself yesterday when reminded that it was the first time he’d started a premier league game in over two-and-a-half years. Had it really been that long?

Tam’s a been a good servant, scored some cracking goals, but he’s by his best now, imo. Would still be happy to keep him around for this season, though. In fact, I hope he keeps fit and doesn’t have any setbacks injury wise so he can stick around until his contract expires.

Rogic technique isn't really great for free kicks. He did score that one dut I don't think his way of striking a ball really allows for getting it up and down over a wall

 

I'd like him to be given more chances. Odsonne isn't in the first XI anyway.

Always loved when I seen this guy play in the past, for me he is a class act, hopefully big Ange will get the best out of him Like Christie, hopefully he will be like a new signing for us.

 

The Rogic thread is always too quiet after games. Sensational performance. I'd say it was his best game for us since the Rodgers era.

 

Thought he was brilliant, footwork was magic, pressed well, passing was great and actually seemed to have enough energy for most of his game
