We could do better if we actually scouted players. But perhaps this and the Hart deal are signs of Ange just saying "* it, we need sensible heads in NOW" and the long term goal for Ange is to chip away at things.

I honestly couldn't give a * about Europe this year...I want our title back and CL place, everything else is a sideshow or bonus..

 

Really happy with this one he is a massive improvement on Soro. Very good technically and he is the sort of player that we have been missing. One of our own and will certainly play with energy which is something that we have been lacking. The addition of Hart and McCarthy adds some much needed experience and leadership to a mentally fragile squad.

 

Spot on. We don't have to run him in to the ground either, be sensible. Plenty of games for Calmac, Mccarthy, Soro and Shaw to be used and rotated. Delighted with this.

 

Still alot of work to be done but its defo a sign of intention but needs backed up by 3 or 4 more and quickly

 

Just seen he won't be available for the Jablonec tie, bit of a * but Soro is still a decent player who can fill in.

Hopefully that means it's a fullback alongside Hart as the wildcards, is it tomorrow the deadline or tonight (if it's tonight then I'd just use Mccarthy as the wildcard and play him in the home leg)

 

Delighted with this. Get him in the midfield with McGregor and Turnbull. Soro as a rotation option.

His talent is proven in the Premier league, 250 odd games.

A little more experience into a team that badly needs it too.

 

With himself and Hart it’s exactly the experience this team needs at this moment in time.
