I remember seeing him as a (young) substitute against Jordan in a WCQ in 2014 (Brisbane); never been to a game where when a player received the ball the crowd would consistently rise to their feet in anticipation of something happening.

rogic would thrive again in a possession based gameplan, its no suprise rogic's form dipped when lennon was encouraging players to get it foward quickly( which led to players constantly hoofing it) and the resulting scrap for ball isnt where rogic shines but getting the ball into his feet is when the magic happens.his ability to do something outrageous is why id keep him around .when up against 9 players camped in their own box we need plenty of flair players

No one would be happier than me if Rogic somehow magically turned the clock back 2 seasons and was pinging in 40 yarders every couple weeks but the evidence in front of us based on his performances for a long time is it’s not going to happen.

The truth is he’s actually had much longer treading water than pretty much any other player in the squad, there’s a long held belief that he’s still capable of that bit if magic that turns a game but the proof of that in reality has been thin on the ground for years.

It can’t be true that Postecoglou wants a high intensity, all action, squad based on pressing and stamina and that Rogic is a lynchpin of that. It doesn’t compute, whether he played for him regularly 4 years ago or not. So either we’re being sold a lie with Ange, or more likely given it’s a fact he has a track record of taking over squads and ditching deadwood, Rogic’s face doesn’t fit.

Tam played regularly for the rat for long enough, do you think he wants him at Leicester now?

Mostly agree with this, no way Rogic can play Angeball for 90 minutes.

But he could definitely play a part against the tiring legs that have been trying to cope with Angeball. I'd even go so far as to suggest that could become a key part of Ange's strategy against park-the-bus sides - get the * tired then bring on Tam for a lethal 20 minutes.

Why could he not play high intensity though? He did under Rodgers and he was a top player.

If he can't get his fitness to that level then he must have a health issue or serious fitness concerns.

I know he's not looked fit for for a long time but why can he not get his fitness up to scratch?

Think he's got some sort of issue with his knee(s) or something that can't be fixed but just sort of managed

If that's the case then it would make sense. I've felt he's had issues for a while with fitness but never knew it was serious.

Lets face it, we are never going to get 90min out of Tam. Reckon it will work out for him, as a sort of impact player.

(Yeah) nah last time I watched him play he looked tanked, not sore. Never puts ice on anything when he comes off does he?

I agree he should be able to sort out his fitness. Sometimes his fitness seems at a lower level than a lot of park side players.

This is the type of player he had to be now.

He needs to retire from the national team, he needs rest when there are international dates.

I’d sell him. If he can’t get fit enough to play a full game he shouldn’t be here.

He’s incredibly talented and gifted but it’s just a waste if he can’t do it for 90 minutes and I don’t think we’re a team that can carry that kind of player.

You really don’t think it’s unprofessional when a player comes out and says a player thinks he’s too big for interviews because he’s won a few trophies? It’s not tongue in cheek either because he’s clearly made it known they’re not on great terms.

He maybe is. I’m not disputing it one way or the other. But going on a radio and slagging off a team mate is unprofessional.

Has there even been a sniff of that the whole time he has been here? If anything Rogic comes across as shy and introvert I'd say.

Matt Ryan comes across as a bit of a * in that interview but Aussies do express themselves in a slightly different way from us so that could well be part of it. I'd not read too much into it.
