Left back from hibs been mentioned we are one of a few clubs interested in him! Looked decent anytime i have seen him , 1million is the fee mentioned! Adds height to the back line also

I remember Frimpong tearing him for shreds at Celtic Park in the 2 nil game and he was subbed at half time and thinking he was a diddy..

Does look decent since though. Has pace. Decent left peg..

 

Celtic are competing with Leeds and Manchester City as they look to land Hibs left-back Josh Doig, according to a report.

18-year-old Doig has earned himself various admirers after establishing himself as a first-team player this season with various teams south of the border linked with a move.

Interest from Celtic has been mentioned, and a new report from Goal names Premiership duo City and Leeds as two of the teams keen to bring him in.

Scouts are said to have been impressed with his ability going forward - he's assisted goals against Dundee United and Kilmarnock this season.

 

I’ve liked what i’ve seen from him this season.

Still has to do a bit with his decision making but decent prospect.

 

No convinced with laxalt , need a a lb with a better positional sense and hs height

 

All my hibs mates rate him highly.

 

He's looked a player since be's broke in, being 18 he's no been totally consistent but they're seems to be a good player there.

He has a lot of potential, seen him many times has a bit of KT about him I thought, just not up to the level KT was at when he was 18.

 

Wont matter how good he is,if he comes here our management will destroy any talent he has and he,ll be loaned out and we,ll never hear of him again.

 

He’s looked quite good when I’ve seen him play. Ideally we’d have a good, experienced left back with Doig as his eventual replacement.

 

Last time i seen this boy he got hooked vs us at half time as Frimpong had him on toast.

 

Punt taylor and bring in an experienced LB and Doig

Seen on sky there that Chelsea, Arsenal are keen on him as are we. But we aren’t looking for a LB this window but would be keen for him to come in the summer. Not a chance we will get him them I don’t think.

 

We won’t get him. Especially if other clubs are showing interest

 

No thanks, too slow and needs consistent game time to keep improving, he'll just end up on the bench behind Taylor.

 

Great, another young player that Lennon won't play and say "He's no match fit yet".

 

Not what we need. Taylor is our back up LB. We need a quality, proven LB.
