Correct Sioux, there’s a wee flock visits the feeders now and again usually around dusk so it’s kinda hard to get a decent picture.

Best show on TV Good Freind. I also saw a trailer for a show on Channel 5( i think). It's a show about the wildlife in the Atlantic Ocean. Looks really good, and I've just watched Perfect Planet on BBC. Attenborough does it again, superb.

The footpath alongside the Garavogue was waterlogged in some places after yesterdays torrential rain so i had to turn back, that's when i came across the Cormorant sitting drying himself on a boat about fifteen feet away, he then got back into the swollen river and started to dive and fish right beside me.

I do dip into this thread now and again, very uplifting and the passion does come over of your posts in here. Got inspired and signed up for the big garden watch next weekend. Me, the wife and a Jack Russell sat in a conservatory for an hour, looking forward to it, should be fun :50:

I also came across this this morning during the fog, it's like a white rainbow, i googled it and it's called a Fog Bow, same rules apply re Rainbow, i.e. sunlight hits the water droplets at a certain angle and produces an arc.
