Watching him trundle back for the 4th while Calmac burst his guts to hold the player up was truly shocking, made FF look like Usain Bolt.

Never ever in a million years is Bain a Celtic class keeper. The goal keeping situation is a sad state of affairs, we can only go by what we've seen of Barkas so far and he looks devoid of confidence and has no presence which is vital for a goal keeper. How can we expect to win a League title with a poor goal keeper and defence that is all over the place.

 

It’s worrying that it seems like Stevie Woods picks the goalkeepers who get called up for Scotland and he’s about 6th choice for Scotland but starting for us.

 

To think if we had given FF 4 million in wages we would not be in this mess.

 

Barkas back in at the weekend. His * attempt at getting the ball and even more pathetic attempt at getting back for the 4th goal is enough to see him dropped

Lennon will pick Bain on Sunday again. So determined to prove he made the right call in dropping Barkas its getting embarrassing now.

 

Debatable if this guy is even good enough to be our second choice goalkeeper let alone out No.1. I have nothing against the guy personally but just get him to * out of our team please.

 

I wanted barkas dropped .... from a man magement point of view to make him up his game I at no point wanted him dropped for good Bain has shifted more goals than him totally out of his depth

For me a goal keeper is the captain of the defence decent commanding keeper keeps a defence solid .... should have did everything we could to make Forster stay like a said something happens first day back because he was their if he didn’t want to stay why did he turn up

He is what he is, a Dundee level keeper.

I mean that with no disrepect because he just is not good enough for our number one.
I am very very happy to have him as the backup keeper, I think he is solid enough and capable of good saves. Does that job fine.
But we should not be persisting with him for all this time when Barkas is back and fit.

 

Maybe we’re looking at this wrong. Maybe Lenny wanted to punish all those who criticised Barkas by putting in Bain for a string of games just to say “See! You don’t want Vasilis in, this is the alternative”.

 

No one is saying he’s the only culprit. Far from it. But this is a thread dedicated to Scott Bain, so any comments in here are about him. It just so happens that tonight the are extremely critical comments tonight, and not without reason.
