Poll: Who plays up front on Saturday against the Huns?

Could be a curve ball thrown in with Elyanoussi or the like playing as a striker if injuries/illness comes into it but assuming the strikers are all available for selection.

 

With 4 strikers available, just cannot see Ely starting as striker.
We hopefully start with Griff and Paddy up top, then a double substitution when the game opens up in last 20min.
With both Griff and Pat's work rate, they will create problems for defenders.

 

Eddy is NOT playing ffs.

He was diagnosed with a deadly virus with a potential to spread exponentially through not only our club but to our upcoming oppositions.

I'd go with paddy and griff

 

Deadly to 0.7% of the sick population. Plus hes qaurentined and will have posted a negative result after having zero symptoms. Calm yourself. Eddy will be on the bench only because hes not trained.

Thats your opinion, there are many who say Eddy could yet be available for selection. We are all aware he was diagnosed with covid, but we are also aware he will return to the team when he's finished quarantine.

If eddie makes the squad he would be great to bring on but dont think he will be 100%

 

Agree re Ntcham, he only puts in a shift when he can be arsed and he never turns up against this mob. I want players on the pitch who want to pull on the hoops, who want to win and who will spill blood for us rather than fannying about and thinking of their next destination. Give me a team of Shane Duffy's...

 

Edouard is technically eligible to play from Friday, but that doesn't mean his immune system and fitness levels are at a peak.

With ElHamed out I'd prefer a back 3, than a makeshift defender.

Griffiths & Klimala for me, unless Ajeti is fully fit and risk free from injury. Then bring klimala on to cause problems at the hour mark.

 

Got a feeling he'll play Ntcham and push Mo in behind a loan striker, hope I'm wrong though

Hopefully, will be on the bench, too much to ask him to start, just better when the game is getting stretched towards the end.
I do reckon there will be late drama in the game.

 

I’d go with Ajeti and Griff. If Eddy is on the bench then bring him on for the last 20 and let him drag their tired defenders about.

 

Went with griff and klimala think the running/pressing they will do will really wear their big lumps at the back out and stretch them. Don’t see griff lasting more than 60 and would bring eddy or ajeti on then. Even if eddy is available, not convinced he’s fit to start and also hasn’t been firing so far. And ajeti is also just coming back from injury and wasn’t even at full fitness before that.

 

Went with Ajeti (if fit) and Griff. Just feel that Duffy, Brown, Ajeti gives a good physicality to the spine of the team. Griff will not stop moving which will give them something to think about. Eddy and Paddy off the bench are great options.

 

Whoever is fit, we'll start one up top with Elyounoussi just off them.

Would be surprised if we go with two out and out strikers. Will depend who's fit tho...
