What's worrying is the way the team were so in control of the game then get sloppy and find themselves under pressure because they can't pick up or shut players down happy to get 3 points but the overall performance isn't great

 

Positives:

• 3 excellent goals scored
• McGregor was superb
• 3 points in the bag, top of the League
• Turnbull looked composed when he came on, lovely delivery to Duffy from the corner as well

Negatives:

• Sloppy defending once again
• Team shape needs huge work, over a 90 min period we haven't looked in control throughout once this season
• Subs only got reduced game time because of the above

Lenny needs to * sort this out. 3 points and a win but * me that was an embarrassing watch. At home to bottom of the table to only won by 1 goal margin. * about with team selections and what not time after time as well is beyond a joke.

It's been said a million times, but what is Brown adding to these games right now? It's not like his leadership is seeing us comfortably seeout games and it's not like his defensive attributes are helping us not concede. Doesn't add anything attack wise. But that would be okay if he was a steadying presence.

He wasn't the worst player today but he honestly is doing * all to merit a place right now.

We should drop McGregor back next to Brown once we are winning.

Before we seemed to always keep McGregor and Brown deep but this season we have been sitting Brown in the middle alone and letting the other guys got 15 yards ahead of him, it's getting us countered down the sides of midfield a lot when teams clear a ball into the middle and win a header.

 

I don't think Lennon knows what Lennon is up to this season.

 

We are making things very difficult for ourselves , with brown I think he's sticking with him playing all these minutes because he's trying to play him into a bit of form but he looks a yard off the pace and lost at times

No, Brown is creating that gap by not keeping up with play.

 

I don’t care how we get to the top as long as we stay there because I can’t see this season going the distance.

We came from behind to win again, a wonder goal made it nervy.

Ajeti scores again. Callum gets his 50th goal for us. Some positives, but the biggest thing is 3 points.

Our midfield has gone soft. We continuously get caught out looking to play the perfect ball and all too often we are standing off other teams. Our second goal is the way we should be pulling teams apart every game, quick in the attack, quick passing behind their defence. I hate to say it but the Huns will hurt us in the first 20 minutes of a game if we dont get to grips. Their all out gung ho first 20 minutes 100 mph they play in very game will easily go through us. 3 positives I take from that game today , Ajeti scoring again and showing what an asset he is going to be when Eddy isnt doing it, another win and 3 points, top of the league. Hail Hail.

 

We got the 3 points but what's the * going on with that defence as * 12 year olds could score against that defence .
