    That would imply there's an active bidding war for him. He is not that good. It seems our club is rarely willing to give extremely young players a chance in the first team. *, Klimala is 20-ish, and he isn't trusted enough in the league, so we brought in Ajeti.

    This. I’ve always found the incessant links with McClean to be built on everything but his footballing capabilities. Strip away everything outwith him as a footballer and you’ll find that he is indeed just a “31 year old, limited, Stoke City Winger”.
