Yeah I would much prefer that he had just done the work everyone of his teammates had done and he was over in France with them because as he showed in February and March when he's at it he's still a real asset to the team.
We have seen this before with him where he's not fit enough and he then keeps breaking down with niggling injuries and he then becomes unavailable for weeks and months at a time. It's just really disappointing from him.

Support a guy who can't be arsed putting in the effort to do his job and is short changing the club and the fans or find another club?

In his statement Lenny even said when he came back he still wasn't fit, just for Scottish type games.. I just don't understand how it's cames to this and lennys statement didn't was straight to the point.

It’s become a bit of a soap opera in here over the situation. The whole saga has twice as many pages discussing it compared to the players on the pitch playing today. Says it all. Didn’t take long for the told ya so brigade to pop up.

See when some post your talking *, or your a * because you have an opinion then I will stop relying to it. Its * all to do with being right it's to do with people at Celtic and the fans being taken for mugs. We all stood behind him for 18 months with his problems and he repays us in what way.

The players had been back 4 weeks before they went to Loughborough and he still wasn't fit. He must have been miles off it

Also here's the part in Wikipedia we're they speak about his ankle
Murdoch had an unsuccessful spell as a publican that ended in debt.[4] In 1995, Murdoch won a legal case in a Medical Appeal Tribunal that an ankle injury he had sustained playing for Celtic was an industrial injury, entitling him to compensation from the state.[9] In his last years he had a role helping at Celtic Park with match-day hospitality.[4]

That was what I said at the very beginning of all this. 4 weeks back still unfit and overweight is just like, *. It's hard to spend a lot of time in the house and probably easy to eat the wrong things but all the other players seemed to cope even the likes of Eddie who didn't go to France.

If Lennon has told him to stay off social media and he's flaunted that request when he knows he's already in the bad books that's very poor.

Time to get the head down and do what is asked, if he doesn't fancy that then Lennon will be ruthless and cut him loose.

By the wording of his statement, I may be wrong, its either last chance saloon or he's had it.

If Lenny doesn’t manage to get him out the door and loaned I can’t see this situation being resolved. Leigh isn’t someone who handles criticism well which has been proven repeatedly before. Broony also commenting about him in public will also not go down well with Leigh I’d imagine. Can’t see any of this ending well as both parties are hugely head strong and stubborn.
Just cannot understand Leigh in celtics biggest year since 67 not wanting to turn up 110% for this season after proving he can do it towards the end of last

If stern words from our manager and club captain for the last decade don't resonate with him then unfortunately it's not going to end well.

They're both supportive individuals and will put their arm round and back their colleague to the hilt if their unjustly coming under fire, the fact that both aren't tells me it's a different story.

Broony is good pals with Griff, they car shared to Lennoxtown for years. The fact he's went public is confirmation enough for me.

Totally. With all his mental health issues you’d imagine they’d publicly support him as friends first before co-workers. But the fact they’ve not shows it must be the last straw. Can see him out at hibs this season on loan.
Really disappointed because when he’s on his game he’s unstoppable.
