it was a game in italy after donadoni took over the team. italy lost the game 0-2...they should have fired him straight away back then:icon_mrgreen:
anyway, italians provoked them with some commy BS, and the idiots instead of making a mockery of them, made the mockery to ourselves by doing that BS...

It was none other than * english who invented the thing, now using every opportunity to punish us for it!

I mean *' UEFA has some sort of spotters who watch the fans, then they see 10 idiots among 10.000 people wearing some dodgy signs, and they readily shout: WHOOOAA, LOOOK CROATIAN RACISTS!!!!

For heaven's sake give us a brake!!!!

Personally, I don't give a * about racism or WWII, and I know most of us doesn't.

So "civilised Europe" will you finally get off our backs with this BS!!??

scarfs with the name of ante gotovina = * symbols (???)

some of our fans had scarfs saying: “Ante Gotovina” and “U boj, u boj, za narod svoj” on a game croatia - turkey, Uefa interpreted as * related...

Jutarnji list came to a posession of photographs which have been taken by the observers of the FARE (Football Against Racism in Europe) who work together with Uefa, and the report that has been filed to uefa upon which we have been fined with 20 000 chf.

among these photographs, * behaviour can be seen (raising hands in a hitlers manner...but i hardly doubt of this one!!!), A flag of the ustaše youth, but most items have absolutely nothing with Nazism.

scarf saying: “U boj, u boj, za narod svoj” has been interpreted as “in war for your country” and described as * greeting (if you weren't such an ignorant idiots, you would have known it comes from an opera dedicated to our hero in war against ottoman empire). scarf saying: “Ante Gotovina” has been interpreted as a “name of a croatian war criminal” (once again, you fccking idiots you should know a man is innocent until proven guilty).

besides, Uefa found one yellow-white flag questionable. later on they have realised it was a Vatican flag(!!!) so they kick that out of the report. Kurt Wachter from FARE, stands by the Uefa fine to croatia, but to our request to explain the meanings of the scarfs and messages, he couldn't reply.

    - your fans have been supervised by 4 of our members and took the photographs of inappropriate items. scarfs “Ante Gotovina” and “U boj, u boj” have also been found inappropriate and reported tu uefa. we heard that the shout “U boj, u boj...” had been used in the war in croatia, therefor it doesn't belong to a game - Wachter said, also admitting they have noticed problems on two games: poland and turkey.

Zoran Cvrk, CFF safety commissioner had nothing but few comments

    - troublemakers will harm all the fans in a situation like this. all shouts will be found inappropriate no matter how positive they are and the connections with the 2ww will be ''found'', even though there are none. and once again we will be justifying ourselves for nothing.
    - CFF wants to ''thank'' a group of fans from Posušje (bosnia and herzegovina) for another fine. making “U” letter larger than the others isn't funny - added Cvrk.

so, spitting on all of our fans over one flag and one U letter...well done uefa, * *! go fix championships :38:

What can I say, Croats? Tough luck. Our fans always get punished for singing patriotic songs or even our emblem, cross with ocilles.
On the other hand, Italian fans, e.g. Lazio's, can fight with knives, and don't get grounded for it.
As Red Star fans said with their coreography on the match vs. AC Milan two years ago: UEFA mafiosi ...

yet barely anything is done to them as they are a big nation and uefa is scared to act on them unless someone (usually a group) has been killed then its a slap on the wrists

plus its the lazio and inter and milan ultras that are the craziest

the non-italian media always tells about lazio. that's pure nonsense. only because the "irriducibili" are probably the most famous and biggest ultras group in italy, they media only seem to know them. fact is, apart from 2-3 clubs, any club has got right wing ultras groups, for example check out AS Roma (many thought they were left.. lol)

now wait croat, if you say there was anything ustase in the crowd then the croats deserve the fine.
I wouldn't be surprised if there was innappropriate behavior. I used to sift through diplomatic reports out of eastern europe for a job with the US diplomatic service and extreme nationalistic behavior (which is directly tied to ethnic identity and thereby racist notions) was commonly reported.

i'm fine with the penalty, but i'm not fine with labeling the entire group and certainly not with ignorant misinterpretations and accusations which have nothing to do with the reality! however, i find uefa's approach to the problem pretty hipocritic. i feel like their only goal is to get more money! these individuals should've been identified and punished if not arrested at the stadium.

imagine you're in the pub all night and someone starts to fight on the other side of pub...you don't have anything to do with that. police comes and take everyone to station and fine them all just because of two guys who start the fight...that's ok with you?

uefa have people who watch and record on cam everything that's going on between fans...they know who are those people and everything...and this what they did is stupid.

"U boj u boj" is from old croatian opera, it has nothing to do with *'s.
even "Za Dom Spremni" which is salut that Ustase used in WW2 is not *...it's from 19th century, the army of Ban Jelacic used that salute between them
