I would agree with that on both counts. It really is a shame he is ruining his time with us so to speak when we took a chance on him. But at this point given his age as well time to move on.

You'd think with his career nearly over at one point he'd be grateful of the opportunity Celtic afforded him to get his career back on track but he's a *.

Hopefully we withdraw any offer and tell him to * off

Shows the two contrasts in what jonny Hayes has just done after signing with Aberdeen. Gordon being down in the prem with Sunderland most his career will have earnt him 10x the money Hayes has in his career.

On the mobile, perhaps someone can copy and paste that?

An interview from after his first season with us.

Oh how so much has changed since then.

What happened to the dour faced *?
From a respectful and happy family man, praising his wife for all her support, walking away from a 7 figure pay day and even somewhat acknowledging the opportunity Celtic afforded him.

    Now?
Cheated on his wife, dumped her out, slags the club that gave him a chance and spent the last 5 years sucking up hearts and budge *.

What was his quote after a European game where he had a howler and then blamed it on the defence?

My guess is the family thing changed him and he knew he * up and just trying to find a way of venting the anger. I've known people like that, no malice but they just need an escape.

What has surprised me most is the amount of Celtic fans that are willing to actually defend this *.

Truth is, he’s been a decent keeper for us, and no more. Started off well, then declined dramatically. Beaten at his near post constantly, terrible distribution, couldn’t command his area and then his attitude declined at a similar rate to his performances.

The collapse of his marriage is telling. Got himself a younger bird and it’s gone to his head where he seems to think he’s back in his mid-20s, hence his all round attitude.

Get him to *. Cannot stand him.

I've defended him but he has started to get on my * a bit. I just cannot be bothered to hate our former players.

DERBY have joined the hunt for Scotland keeper Craig Gordon.

The 37-year-old veteran has knocked back St Mirren and is mulling over a two-year deal from Hearts after his Celtic contract ended.

But Derby have now entered the fray, with the Championship side in the market for a new No1.

Gordon has made just six appearances for Celts since 2018 after losing his place to Scott Bain then Fraser Forster.

His last appearance for the champions was a Europa League defeat to Cluj back in December.

Hearts, where Gordon began his senior career, remain the favourites to sign the keeper, who has knocked back an offer from Buddies gaffer Jim Goodwin.

However, it’s understood that with all the uncertainty over what league the Jambos will be in next season Gordon would consider offers from other clubs.

That could open the door for play-off chasing Derby to pounce as they try to solve their keeper problem.

Current No1 Ben Hamer’s season-long loan from Huddersfield is about to end.

Hamer, 32, was signed as cover after Scott Carson headed to the Etihad in a season-long loan deal with Manchester City.

Since then the former Leicester goalie has established himself as first choice at the Rams.

Pep Guardiola is believed to want to keep Carson for another term, leaving Derby boss Philip Cocu to turn his attention to Gordon.

The veteran claimed there was an “enormous gap” between his expectations and what Celtic had offered him to stay.

Hoops boss Neil Lennon was keen for Gordon to stay, but it seems certain he will find a new club.

He is looking for a two-year deal and still hopes to force his way back into the Scotland reckoning.

A move back south to Derby could help his bid.

I hate the man with a passion our club took a chance on him when no one didn’t then improved his deal he’s been with club for what like 6 season on a wage which was rising year on year in my book once your past thirty your contract should start to go down in money he should count himself lucky acting as if he’s is being hard done by

Don't like us speculating on his personal life but after reading what he said in that interview Pedro should close the stable door.
