Don't think the badge kissing or megaphone stuff will be considered silly. He is a fan living the dream and enjoying the moment.

Tbf you did tie yourself up with the “by any yardstick” reference & any reasonable person wouldn’t hold you to that, even though you said it. :84:

    There’s always a first time mate. :60:
Let this one slide by. :102:

That would walk away from "the dream" for perennial failures?

I just attempted a reasonable discussion and you’ve brought it back to me.

By your yard stick, rangers are bigger than Celtic. End of story.

So you pick any club with more trophies than Celtic and they’re a bigger club?

Doesn’t work like that, some trophies hold more weight than others. Naturally,

Exactly, he's a Celtic fan and always will be, but that dosen't mean he has to spend his entire footballing career with us.

Of course i would be devestated tae see him go, but would be glad for him as a player and would love to see him enjoy the kinda success and adulation that Robertson has had for liverpool.

We have to live in the real world, and not be naive here, a footballers career is a short one, i wouldn't hold it against KT if he went, the guy has been magnificent for us.

    KT.... a badge kisser???

Away and take a flying * to yersel

He's one of us. Blood, sweat, and tears this bhoy has put himself through.
We've had legends like McStay...didn't see much of his self but for me KT is just on another level and no fan should say his passionate badge kissing, sitting with his own at games instead the box, and conducting chants with a megaphone.
If Any one thinks that.......they're a *. End of..
I hate going on a forum rant but I've woke up to that *? Naaaa. No happenin

    Sorry

Ps.....I'll be * greeting when KT leaves.

He must look at Andy Robertson and feel he could achieve similar success. He’s earning enough at Celtic to set him and his kids up for life but he could earn enough down south to set his great grandkids up for life. We all selfishly want him to stay but shouldn’t hold it against him if he leaves.

Maybe you should reread the comment when you've woken up a bit more then.

If he leaves just now then there's no-one that can argue he's "on another level to McStay". McStay could've walked into most midfields in Europe and multiplied his salary several times over yet stayed with us during one of the most barren and tumultuous periods in our history.

With that in mind, would he swap the next 2 years and being written into folklore by securing 10 league titles in a row for an Arsenal side going nowhere? Not for any amount of Sky cash.

I showed you links pal showing Newcastle were in for brown and he said naw. Also Australia just this year. He said naw. What's being found out about? Hes even said himself he could have made alot more money elsewhere. So up ye. *.

He also turned down 40k a week from Dubai. That's double what hes on now.

revealed yesterday Brown had KO’d a £40,000-week offer from Dubai-based outfit Al-Wasli, leaving a straight choice between committing himself to Scotland’s champions or accepting a long-standing deal to become the poster boy for A-League new boys Western Melbourne.

So come back with something to disprove that. Obviously you wont. All you ever say is "talking *" even though iv shown proof. Wheres your proof? Down your mums sofa? Wheres your proof 40k isn't triple? Or you just here to troll folk with utter pish?

The most disappointing thing (again) is the fee being mentioned. The board keeps short changing themselves.

    If Tierney goes... hypothetically speaking

Would you be ok with losing him if we signed:
    2x RBs (Stacey & Smith)
    2x LBs (Perraud & Boli)
1x CB for cover (Benkovic on loan possibly or young prospect)
    1x CM (Ntcham replacement likely)
    1x ST

This would mean we have a much more balanced sqaud with competition for places across the board.

Obviously it would be at the expense of losing a Celtic supporter who has been tremendous over the last 3/4 seasons.

    Thoughts?

A talent like KT has to be allowed to flourish and realise his true potential, in this part of the world reaching the 10 is everything i get that, but i really hope if he does go there will be no bitterness or anger towards him, Celtic is always about the team not any individual player.
